i recently stumbled across zen buddhism, in which they teach to accept your part in the flow of life. (instead of going to the opposite currency)
its not that you were out of control in this state of flow view, but rather, most things are outside of your control. (thus the term fate was constructed to describe events outside of your perceived control which have effects upon you. with a hint of religious tone.)
while in contrast, not viewing life as flow would, in zen buddhists view make you stubborn, short sighted for not seeing how life "really is".

in zen buddhism it seems they compare these two views as like: believe you have total control, and you only have 20% control of your real potential and see 0% as out of control. see how it "really is", ability to control starts rising from 20% to much higher, as you uncover your real control by also studying what you cant control, ability to see what you cant control is gained.

i wonder if this is enneagram and mbti related, as in ennea 9 / 1w9 / Ne thing.

i dont know how Se users exactly view existence, but it seems to be by strictly labeling everything recognizable with some form of specific structured meaning, while otherwise as in zen buddhism they promote to see everything "as is" without deciphering the meaning of sensory input, while this would go strongly against the structuring everything external by assigning a specific meaning for everything with the use of labeling. (can Se users confirm, disconfirm or give more data on how exactly it is you make understanding of what you perceive? do you Se's see everything as connected, as if everything in existence was the very same thing?)

im just confused here, trying to sort out the different ways to view world as.

and something related to this: can you enjoy the moment, or often too quickly have the need to switch to something else? (enjoying the moment equals accepting flow without being restless for constant change, something im getting a bit better as i gain more self understanding, instead of restlessly bouncing from idea to idea without really enjoying it that much.)

I think in order to decipher the world from the subjective thoughts of what is to objective reality, Intuition is highly important, since the true enlightenment comes with realizing everything is connected.relative/one... and not so much being a sensor, since they are more focused on putting things in boxes and labeling; you probably won't become enlightened if you are too busy separating things rather than connecting things. The idea of "sensors" is that of a black and white reality, when in reality everything is shades of grey. Ultimately i think there needs to be a strike of balance in between all function from t-f N-S and P-J. Ultimately, this mbti system is for Sensors because they like to label their idea of beings. Sensors are very useful, jsut not in the topic of philosophy. Truth is we are all one, and we act in certain ways for certain reasons, not just because we are simply a "type". Realize we are all one, that is the ultimate zen

But ultimately one's objective goal is self-realization which is a different meaning to everyone. Realizing your place in history, and of course that can evolve with changed perspective.

Munchies not only sensors label, intuitors do it equally, for example an intj attempts to break world apart into million pieces, evrything having a specific word/explanation unrelated to anything else in this existence. like studying puzzle one piece at a time.

while enfp sees everything as fluid, connected, elusive.. ultimately, even the language itself, giving the tongue of silver with proper practice due its elusive nature.

only Si cuts the insides into million pieces instead of outsides like intj's.

hm, zen buddhism seems similar to jedi religion, only with the addition of science and much other modern concepts instead of focusing solely on one factor.

and yes, perfect balance is the only way to go. be it ennea wings, mbti, everything. (oh and balance includes choosing to master one mbti type, human memory simply cant hold the progress of multiple that effectively.)

while people of Ni can accept the term ego as meaningful, thanks to their sense of wholeness connection inside what Ne's experience outside, and Si gives the sense of identity being a cooperation of a multitude different processes. every process, every significant neaural team which forms a process of any conscious sort, has their own identity.

be it something as ridiculous as choosing to look at ceiling with both eyes open, yet choosing to look with only one at time, noticing the ceiling changes colour as you decide to not listen the other eye. LOL's.. my lame self discovery adventures? xD.. (well you know often one eye sees everything reddish while the other sees everything bluish. and it can be noticed even without closing one eye at time, by closing the eye from inside your head instead of eyelids. yeahh, im making such noteworthy progress, we intuitors are truly valuable! =] )

Don't go with the flow of nature. Focus the flow of nature, make it your obediant and toiling slave, turning the tides to your will!
