Thread: Pilgrimage?

  1. #1

    Default Pilgrimage?

Have you ever thought about it? Would you undertake one? For what reason? With whom? With what in mind? And would you think there is a role for pilgrimage in the modern post-religious or secular world?

Would be nice to go visit some amazonian ayahuasca healer or some hindu or buddhist holy men

Hmm. A hallucinogen experience would probably be more enlightening.
    I'm not helping much.

If any substance is going to give you a vivid spiritual trip, it's ayahuasca.

And so long as you haven’t experienced this: to die and so to grow,
you are only a troubled guest on the dark earth

Yes, so much that its impossible to start posting it, but only can recommend finding out yourself and dig deep(and wide) if you are going to look into it

Just what do you mean by a pilgrimage: believers going to Fatima, or Mecca, or Stonehenge? I definitely see a place for journeys that teach us about ourselves, our place in the world, all of which for me has a very spiritual foundation. Perhaps I just see the idea of pilgrimage rather broadly.
I've been called a criminal, a terrorist, and a threat to the known universe. But everything you were told is a lie. The truth is, they've taken our freedom, our home, and our future. The time has come for all humanity to take a stand...

Omg, yes, in 2007, I had nothing better to do so I went to Stoke-On-Trent, England on a Slash pilgrimage; That was cool, I returned a week later with 6 of my friends and my then on again off again GF, was cool.
