Be honest with yourself: how many people will admit that they prefer that someone thinks for them ? (in the case that someone actually thinks fo them)

If it was possible - I would go for others thinking for me. If I could be okay with that, that's what I would've gone for.

But I only wrote it because anti-social told me to.

    You forgot the hive-mind option.

It depends on the extent of my inability to think for myself. If I was still allowed to retain some sense of individuality, and the 'group-think' aspect was only active when I was attempting to solve a problem or do something which required critical thought, then I might consider it.

Could I try it out first? I'd love to experience something like that for a short while.

Edit: I would venture to guess that the human brain is more or less a kind of group think anyways. The question is whether or not combining the minds of people would be done in such a way as to create a new meta consciousness with multiple vessels of sensory input, or whether people could use it as a sort of mobile access think computer, or something else entirely.

    We are borg... NOT!

I believe Lowtech Redneck might have meant collective thinking... or in other words, unified thought. That would be the antithesis of a hive-mind; to have complete contribution or to have one single process. I would choose what Lowtech is optioning or ummmmm... what I think he meant.
