Question Do you believe in Reincarnation?

Like coming back to life as someone else.
Or sharing almost 100% characterisitics with someone famous who was deceased in the past.

I'll believe in whatever there is an accumulation of evidence.

So far, we only have rare anecdotal stories that suggest any sort of truth to the notion of Westernized (not buddhist) reincarnation... so I'd have to say not.

Besides, how come no one's former self was ever a nobody?

Do you have an opinion, yenom? For this being in the Philosophy section, there wasn't much meat on it. Have you studied any of the prominent cases?

    Technicalities.

You can be Curzon -- he hasn't been around much lately.

Yes, I do, but maybe not in the way you are thinking. I don't necessarily literally believe that I might have been Montezuma in a past life. But the world makes sense to me seen as locked into a death and rebirth cycle.

The cycle is obvious to me within just how I've personally experienced life, and it's not hard for me to extend the concept into those places where I can't see, before birth and after death.
