    Interesting thought, I like!

But then again. A cell is 'born/created' with the knowledge it needs to attribute to its 'society'. Whereas an indivudual has to learn this knowledge to attribute to their society. I think that's the only tangible difference, analogy-wise..

Is there such thing as society? Society is a concept so it exists as a concept. A group of people is called a population. A category of people is called a demographic. It is what it is, nothing more, nothing less.

I am what I am, nothing more, nothing less until I look across the candle-lit table into her eyes, and become something larger than myself, I become a dyad. And after nine months we become a triad, and then there is no looking back.

In that case you were once a part of a triad yourself. We label each cross-section but the labels don't have any meaning beyond what they specifically refer to. Even if relationships between members follow a pattern depending on their role within the social "organization", the relationship between 1 and many exists only within that person's mind. For instance, a person may feel rejected by their society and form negative feelings towards that group, but beyond the label of society there is no collective whole except as a concept of the individual.
