Yeah I don't really want to know that either.

I don't know about Jesus updates, but it seems no one sends me plants anymore to save the rainforest.

I like to rock n' roll all night and *part* of every day. I usually have errands... I can only rock from like 1-3.

I have no life, no friends, no goals, no ambitions, what will facebook do for me?

Yeah, I avoided facebook for months at a time until somebody told me that I could block the status updates of those people I knew in middle school and high school who lead irritatingly different lives than myself, yet I would feel "mean" just deleting them.

They can't help it, I guess. And who knows what they might do if they actually started to doubt a little bit? Backslidden Pentecostals are notoriously dissipated and I'd hate to see that happen to the people I love so I try to let it go most of the time.
I do sometimes respond with snopes.com links (privately) to my dad's chain emails. I try to only respond to factual inaccuracies, and let the rest slide.

It's kind of like he's in the early 1990's stage of the internet. The emails never link to anything but instead embed everything (even huge attachments). I'm amazed with all the heart-warming stuff (usually about children, grandparents, soldiers and/or pets) that he forwards, especially since he's a pretty extreme ESTJ.

I tend to dislike all that too... any sort of proselytizing. Don't like salesmen either.

I heard there are some great Christian/Muslim soapbox arguments in Britain, though, out in the parks. Apparently they get pretty heated but don't take the conflict personally.

When the Mormon guys wandered by two weeks ago and offered to help with my car, that's one of the first times in my life I finally had enough boundaries up to not care if they were hitting me up about their faith... and I really liked that feeling.

What is was was people posting something in an update and asking others to cut and paste it to show support and then contacting me on the chat function to ask why I'd not done so. Which I though was a no brainer.
yeah, srsly. I hate that added pressure / sense of entitlement. If you had wanted to join, you would have. It just sounds like they're trying to judge/coerce you by asking why.

I've seen TJs get pretty "soft/sentimental" too, online.
