Besides, that was me and you still owe me fifteen dollars. Actually, the interest will bring that up to about eighty-two dollars at this point.

I don't know what level of math you completed, but fifteen dollars plus interest cannot equal fifty cents unless we're talking about Rupals cira 1988.

I was bullied too, from first grade to the ninth. Sometimes physically sometimes verbally. It wasn't anything regular, it seems more like I just was the kind of guy that the bully kind of guy would pick on. It made me weak and shy for a long time... It is a crude awakening to find out that people don't like you and want to harm you in some ways.
I don't think that this is "normal" behavior, there is something wrong in those kids. Many times it was obvious. They had broken families and such. Sometimes they were good kids who just failed to notice they took a joke too far. One of them was a very good friend of mine. He didn't bully me, though, and I never bullied anyone with him. The last I heard about him he was an awful mess. Heavy drugs and stuff. So, I'm not sure I have a point here, except that, bullies should not be tolerated but it must be noticed that they too are victims. I say, put them to some counseling, check out how their parents are, put them to counseling too if they abuse their kids or something. I am convinced that this problem starts from some situation in the bully's past and it's a fairly good guess it has to do with their parents. But then again, the problem isn't going anywhere until you need a license to reproduce. |
