YOUR PERSONALITY TYPE:
SCIENTIST (VOI-P)

True to their name, Scientists are the most analytical and logical of all personality types. They are able to focus on just what really matters in a particular situation, tuning out all other distractions. Thanks to their desire for effectiveness, and their unrelenting perfectionism, Scientists are a formidable force wherever there is a need for a sharp and encyclopedic mind.

These traits are clearly visible in Scientists’ everyday lives as well. Pensive and detached, people with this personality type may often seem so deep in thought that they do not really pay any attention to their surroundings. Scientists are fascinated by models, concepts and unexplained patterns, knowing no greater intellectual pleasure than to finally find a way to link two seemingly unrelated facts or events, or create order out of chaos.

Similarly, Scientists cannot stand nonsense or illogical conclusions, especially if they concern matters they are familiar with. Despite being introverted and self-conscious, Scientists can devastate an opponent in a debate, juggling different ideas and strands of thought with admirable ease. On the other hand, people with this personality type are prone to self-doubt and emotional turbulence, often worrying that they‘ve missed something crucial along the way.

This restless fear of possible failure is perhaps the most important obstacle holding Scientists back. While perfectionism can be a great driving force (few types are as hungry for knowledge as Scientists), it can also cause a great deal of stress and anxiety. However, these personalities are highly unlikely to reveal that emotional side of theirs to people around them. Their calm exterior often hides these very strong feelings.

Similarly, Scientists often feel out of their element when it comes to recognizing and understanding other people’s emotions. Being as analytical as they are, these personalities tend to find emotions simply puzzling and illogical. This trait, coupled with Scientists’ occasional forgetfulness and preoccupation with their thoughts, makes dating and similar activities a challenge. However, Scientists also tend to be devoted, adaptable and undemanding partners, whose true depth and personality need time and effort to be understood and appreciated.

Highly intuitive, open-minded and imaginative Scientists may not always be stress-free or confident, but they more than make up for that with their impressive reasoning skills, deep and varied knowledge, and willingness to work long and hard for intellectual advancement. If someone with this personality type also makes conscious efforts to become better-rounded by developing their empathy and diplomatic skills, their potential will be truly impressive.

Keepers are a fairly common personality type who attend to order and stability above all else. If you need something done and done correctly, you’d do well to call on a Keeper. Once enlisted, they treat it as a duty. They work hard and remain focused, noticing every detail. However, people with this personality type also have a tendency toward perfectionism, and can find themselves overworked as they try to make something flawless.

Keepers are loyal to their friends, their employers and, most of all, their families. They have a tendency to stay with a job or in an organization a long time and, with their longevity, they become knowledgeable about how an organization works. These personalities often become quiet insiders who are indispensable, but who often remain unnoticed.

Outside work, they are happy staying home with their families and a few close friends, and don’t need much excitement or stimulation in their lives. Too many people and too much activity can prove to be a drain on Keepers, who need time alone to restore their energy. Like Defenders, it can be a long time before they realize that it’s perfectly okay to take that time to themselves though. If they don’t, ever-sensitive Keepers may sometimes isolate themselves completely if the stress runs too high.

Because of their meticulous and practical natures, Keepers work well in administrative and clerical roles. They often find jobs in education, medicine, and other industries where protocols play a large role. As long as they don’t have to deal with strong or constant criticism, Keepers are largely cooperative and do well working in small teams in these settings.

Keepers are sensitive and, if someone does mention a flaw, they can take it personally. It’s not always easy for them to tell if even a general, more innocuous observation is just meant to be hurtful. These personalities often deal with criticism by shutting down or reacting in passive aggressive ways.

People with this personality type do respond well to praise though. While they do not actively seek it, gestures that show appreciation for their efforts energize them. Overall, their sensitive nature can create a roller coaster existence where one day they are on top of the world and the next, they feel down and unappreciated.

Keepers need to take care to manage their perfectionism. Combined with a strong adherence to rules, it can lead to rigid beliefs and behaviors. This can result in Keepers insisting on an unbendingly “right” way of doing things – a singular, perfect way. This can create tensions with more individualistic and innovative personality types, and may make Keepers slow to welcome any form of change at all. This can also lead people with this personality type to procrastination for fear of doing something wrong, and burnout from trying too hard.

Despite their struggle with perfectionism and occasional over-sensitivity, Keepers are great assets to the organizations, families or groups with which they are involved. They stand out as efficient, competent and committed.

Adventurer - Roi-S

If that doesn't sound inadvertently like ISFP, I don't know that I have seen a more accurate secret test of who I actually am.

Adventurers are open-minded individualists who use their imaginations to create things or find better ways to do them. While these personalities like people and make an effort to get along, they sometimes take risks and go off the beaten path. This can prove upsetting to individuals who are more attached to tradition or convention, and can become a recurring pattern through their lives.

Adventurers are true experimenters. They are open to new experiences, and much less so to those who try to make them fall in line. If they feel someone is criticizing them unfairly or harshly, these good-natured but sensitive individuals can become tempestuous. When people with this personality type are angry, it can be dramatic. Most of the time though, Adventurers are so busy finding their own way (or have built up a defense against criticism) that they barely notice what others are saying about them.

Adventurers may come across as confident, but there are often underlying problems with their self-esteem. Since schools usually expect students to conform and to follow directions, Adventurers do not always do well in the classroom as children. They may even become marked as troublemakers before they learn to harness their spontaneity and enthusiasm. Consequently, a sense of failure may linger in the background as Adventurers mature into adulthood.

Often people with this personality type find an interest or talent that resonates with them later in adolescence or young adulthood – Adventurers then begin to “grow into their own skin”. When Adventurers find a trade or skill they like, they work tirelessly to master it. Once they’ve done so, they continue to tinker with their serious plaything, trying to make it even better, or to put their own particular spin on it. These personalities strive to perfect anything they get their hands on – so much so that they need to be cautious not to become overwhelmed by perfectionistic goals. When perfectionism becomes obsession, it can lead to burn-out, chronic procrastination and recurring disappointment.

Their drive to master their crafts may often be a means of compensating for the sense of inadequacy that childhood and school might have unfairly given them. While it’s unlikely Adventurers will deal with their self-esteem in an outward or public way, their sense of well-being and motivation can sometimes be influenced by a nagging sense that they don’t measure up, especially earlier on in life.

But typical of Explorers, those types who share the ROI traits, Adventurers are always finding new ways to address, change or portray the world around them. This makes them perfect for the arts, the design world or finding solutions to practical problems as counselors, social workers or even in business. People with this personality type are spontaneous, flexible and think on their feet, and are great to have around when something goes wrong. They are attuned to their environment and are always searching for effective and interesting ways to respond to it.

When the workday is over, Adventurers can be surprisingly gregarious. In fact, their friends and acquaintances often mistake them for Extraverts because of the energy they put out in their social lives. However, true to their Introverted nature, people with this personality type need time to be alone to recharge. Adventurers’ perfectionism makes them susceptible to stress, and they need to make a special effort to enjoy that Introversion. Getting away from others for a bit is quite therapeutic for these personalities.

As parents and spouses, Adventurers are fun and interesting people. However, there are times for rules and standards too, and Adventurers’ occasional disregard for them can be trying for their spouses. “Somebody has to be the adult” may be something an Adventurer’s spouse pulls out during an argument. But Adventurers are who they are, and playfulness marks these personalities’ parenting style more than discipline, alongside warmth, protectiveness and love.

YOUR PERSONALITY TYPE: PEACEMAKER (VOI-S)

True to their name, Peacemakers excel at bringing peace and integrity to their environment and the people dear to them. Perhaps the most dreamy and idealistic of all types, these personalities never truly rest – their kindness, combined with high sensitivity and perfectionism, pushes them to do everything they can to ensure that good triumphs evil in all possible forms.

That said, it may be quite difficult to decipher the true feelings and thoughts of a Peacemaker. People with this personality type are used to shielding their sensitive and idealistic inner core from outside judgment and criticism, often since early childhood. In order to avoid being misunderstood and isolated, Peacemakers try to curb their childlike enthusiasm and insatiable fascination with the world. Unfortunately, this also exposes these personalities to significant mood swings – they can feel on top of the world one day and become consumed with doubt about themselves the next.

On the other hand, their innate creativity and eagerness to be the best they can be hands Peacemakers a rather unique set of tools to make their voice heard. First, people with this personality type care deeply about good, ethical causes. Peacemakers are unmistakably authentic, making them perfect candidates for any work that involves helping or encouraging others.

Second, they are highly adaptable and intuitive, constantly scanning their environment for cues that something may be amiss. While this attitude may make Peacemakers quite anxious and self-conscious, their flexibility often proves very useful.

Finally, Peacemakers are very creative, even poetic individuals, finding it not just easy, but deeply fulfilling to express their thoughts in writing. Many Peacemakers dream of being authors from a very early age, feeling fascinated by the symbols, metaphors and characters that a masterful writer brings to life. These personalities can be quite perfectionistic sometimes, endlessly polishing their articles or novels. But when they do let their thoughts reach a wider audience, it’s rather difficult to not be fascinated by the rich imagination and idealism that all Peacemakers share.

Complex and mysterious personalities, Peacemakers are hard to get to know – they themselves sometimes find it difficult to truly understand what drives and inspires them. However, their kind, gentle and altruistic nature makes Peacemakers irreplaceable wherever there is a need for a deeply positive, healing and idealistic touch. A Peacemaker’s quiet enthusiasm, empathy and curiosity can sometimes do much more than another type’s firm, confident and rational approach. As the quote goes, “...not all those who wander are lost”.

I got reformer (VDI-S). A lot of it describes me, but there was a part thrown in about being inspiring/not understanding selfishness and I just don't resonate with that.

I wonder what MBTI type is closest to this description? I doubt it's INTP.

Think Big 5 here... gotta include the Neuroticism scale.

So,

Motivating: Calm+Feeler
Supporting: Limbic+Feeler
Challenging: Calm+Thinker
Perfecting: Neurotic+Thinker

It is nice in that it destigmatizes Neuroticism.

If you need something done right, you’d do well to call on a Keeper. Hardworking, focused, and detail oriented, Keepers devote themselves to order and stability. Unfortunately, people with this personality type often struggle with perfectionism, overworking themselves in their intense efforts not to let anyone down.

Keepers are loyal to their friends, their colleagues, and—most of all—their families. They tend to stay with their employers for years or decades, and thanks to this commitment, they often come to know more than anyone else about how an organization works. Although they don’t draw attention to themselves, people with this personality type often become indispensable insiders at their workplaces.

In their free time, Keepers don’t seek out thrills or excitement. Instead, they enjoy staying home and spending time with family or a few close friends. Big gatherings can be a drain for Keepers, who need time alone to restore their energy. Like their Defender cousins, Keepers may feel guilty about setting aside time purely for themselves. If they constantly push themselves to be there for others, however, they will eventually burn out.

Thanks to their meticulous, practical nature, Keepers work well in administrative and clerical roles. They often enjoy jobs in education, medicine, and other industries that value protocol and procedure. Keepers work well with others, especially in small teams, as long as they don’t encounter strong or consistent criticism.

Sensitive to the core, Keepers take criticism personally, even if it’s meant to be impersonal or constructive. They may react to negative feedback by shutting down or acting in passive aggressive ways. Keepers are also acutely sensitive to praise. Even though they don’t seek it out, external validation energizes them.

As a result, feedback can create a roller-coaster existence for Keepers, either bolstering their self-esteem or annihilating it. People with this personality type may find themselves procrastinating or constantly second-guessing themselves for fear of doing something wrong. They are less likely than any other personality type to take even calculated risks.

Perfectionistic and rules oriented, Keepers can find themselves stuck in rigid beliefs and behaviors. If Keepers insist on a single “right” way of doing things, they risk triggering tensions with more individualistic personality types. Unless Keepers actively open their minds, they can be slow to welcome any form of change at all.

This perfectionism and sensitivity can have upsides, too: Keepers think before they act or speak, so they stand out as considerate, conscientious members of society. Impeccably reliable, they promote order and stability wherever they go. Whether or not they receive due recognition, Keepers are an asset to their colleagues, their families, and their friends.

I do relate a lot to this. by possible MBTI correlation, I assume realistic is S, I is introverted still, and J is diligent as someone suggested above. And I guess a supporter would be an F.
So this may be suggesting ISFJ. XD
