The Color Code Personality Profile also known as The Color Code or The People Code, created by Dr. Taylor Hartman, divides personalities into four colors: Red (motivated by power), Blue (motivated by intimacy), White (motivated by peace), and Yellow (motivated by fun). Here is the test:
https://www.colorcode.com/choose_personality_test/
My results: WHITE
[h=2]MOTIVE [ Peace ][/h]Whites are motivated by Peace. They seek independence and require kindness. They resist confrontation at all costs. To them, feeling good is more important than being good. They are typically quiet by nature, process things very deeply and objectively with great clarity. Of all the colors, whites are the best listeners. They respect people who are direct but recoil from perceived hostility or verbal battle.
[h=2]ABOUT WHITE[/h]Whites need their "alone time" and refuse to be controlled by others. Whites want to do things their own way and in their own time. They ask little of others and resent others demanding much of them. Whites are much stronger than people think, but are not often seen for their strength because they don't easily reveal their feelings. Whites are even-tempered, diplomatic, and the voice of reason; but can also be indecisive, unexpressive, and silently stubborn. When you deal with a WHITE, be kind, accept and support their individuality, and look for non-verbal clues to understand their feelings.

MOTIVE [ Power ]

reds are motivated by Power. They seek productivity and need to look good to others. Simply stated, reds want their own way. They like to be in the driver's seat and willingly pay the price to be in a leadership role. reds value whatever gets them ahead in life, whether it be in their careers, school endeavours, or personal life. What reds value, they get done. They are often workaholics. They will, however, resist doing anything that doesn't interest them.

ABOUT RED

Reds like to be right. They value approval from others for their intelligence and practical approach to life, and want to be respected for it. Reds are confident, proactive, and visionary; and but can also be arrogant, selfish, and insensitive. When you deal with a RED, be precise, factual, direct, AND show no fear!

Motive [ Fun ]

Yellows are motivated by Fun. They are inviting and embrace life as a party that they're hosting. They love playful interaction and can be extremely sociable. They are highly persuasive and seek instant gratification. Yellows need to be adored and praised. While yellows are carefree, they are sensitive and highly alert to others' agendas to control them. Yellows typically carry within themselves the gift of a good heart

ABOUT YELLOW

Yellows need to look good socially, and friendships command a high priority in their lives. Yellows are happy, articulate, engaging of others and crave adventure. Easily distracted, they can never sit still for long. They embrace each day in the "present tense" and choose people who, like themselves, enjoy a curious nature. Yellows are charismatic, spontaneous, and positive; but can also be irresponsible, obnoxious, and forgetful. When you deal with a YELLOW, take a positive, upbeat approach and promote light-hearted, creative, and fun interactions.
------------

While this is accurate in some areas, in others it's totally wrong and it misses the core of my personality. A large part of it though is who I was as a child is rather different than I am now.

Yeah that seems totally wrong for you. I would guess Blue or Red?

Too many of those questions were "none of the above" for me. Annoying test.

Since it was asking for how I was as a child, it gave the wrong reflection. I was a rather... complex and difficult child. Granted, I was difficult to raise, but when I say complex and difficult I mean that my external behaviors and drives were driven by internal things that were very different from one would expect.

For example, fun and excitement was definitely a priority for me when I was a child. Why? Well, of course fun was good in itself, and I needed a lot of exciting stimulation to bleed out the energy, but it was more. It was a venue to prove myself and my worth in a loose context. It allowed me to have access to situations that I could run and control on my own. I could create things that I was able to understand, since I largely didn't "get" the average world around me. I was very adverse to challenges or things where I had to externally prove my worth, because I was SO afraid of doing it wrong, not being good enough, or failing. It was just paralyzing perfectionism really. By doing things fun things could be subjective and lighthearted, while still being able to show my "worth" to others.

I also had a lot of energy that for the life of me I could not channel correctly. I needed to be constantly stimulated, but if I had to sit still for too long to get to that point I would get annoyed. I also hated work. As silly as it is, I saw it as an inefficiency. All I could see was the end product, and I would get annoyed over the idea that stuff had to be done to get there "why can't we just get to the good stuff?!", so I would be constantly trying to fruitlessly reinvent the wheel to get to the end as fast as possible to minimize work. In essence, I wanted to make an infinite impropability drive for life, so I could avoid all of the hyperspace mucking that I saw as inefficient. This made me seem like I was disorganized, unfocused, and unmotivated. I've always been driven, I just channeled it completely wrong.

Finally, I was (and still am) rather emotionally sensitive and volatile. It doesn't take much to throw me off. I HATE this about myself, and in my adult life I am constantly fighting against it (and for the most part do ok with it). Nevertheless, because I was so internally intolerant to failures, not being the best/#1, not being a natural at something, I completed wilted to any authority (even peer authority) that informed me I failed, or did something wrong, or was just wrong for my exsistance. It was such a painful experience that I avoided challenges for a long time unless I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt I could ace it, or it truly didn't matter.

MOTIVE [ Intimacy ]
Blues are motivated by Intimacy. They seek to genuinely connect with others, and need to be understood and appreciated. Everything they do is quality-based. They are loyal friends, employers, and employees. Whatever or whomever they commit to is their sole (and soul) focus. They love to serve and give of themselves freely in order to nurture others' lives.

ABOUT BLUE
Blues have distinct preferences and have the most controlling personality. Their personal code of ethics is remarkably strong and they expect others to live honest, committed lives as well. They enjoy sharing meaningful moments in conversation as well as paying close attention to special life events (e.g. birthdays and anniversaries). Blues are dependable, thoughtful, and analytical; but can also be self-righteous, worry-prone, and moody. They are "sainted pit-bulls" who never let go of something or someone once they are committed. When you deal with a BLUE, be sincere and make a genuine effort to understand and appreciate them.

---

Sounds like an ISFJ. Loves to serve others and is security-driven and worry-prone? Blech....
Many of the questions had no answer I related to though.

It's INFP, the side nobody talks about around here.

Chunks of it are INFP or any IxFx type, but the loving to serve, paying attention to special life events, worry-prone, etc - strikes me as the IxFx of the SJs.

 if it was seen in a positive, healthy way, then yes, I agree with you. This is, what I guess, the description is describing, a healthy person. That can be associated with the type you picked.

When the INFP gets negative or stressed:

Under extreme stress, fatigue or illness, the INFP's shadow may appear - a negative form of ESTJ. Example characteristics are:
• being very critical and find fault with almost everything
• doing things to excess - e.g.: eating, drinking or exercising
• becoming bossy or domineering and ignoring others' feelings
• being pedantic about unimportant details
The shadow is part of the unconscious that is often visible to others, onto whom the shadow is projected. The INFP may therefore readily see these faults in others without recognizing it in him/her self.

Also matches the other descriptions.

I'm not sure what you're saying....the negative INFP traits (under stress) don't match what I was saying sounds ISFJ about that blue description. Those aspects point to a security seeking that is markedly SJ mentality. Some of it is positive, sure, but it's not the strengths of a typical INFP, which tends to be more about creativity and idealistic pursuits.

The INFP negatives you list is someone being openly aggressive and critical, and no, that doesn't get discussed as much for INFPs. ISFJs are more manipulative and paranoid when stressed (inferior Ne). This blue description hints more at that, IMO.
