It's similar to the Disc 21-page report in that it's a test that tells you what your "strengths" are, but it has a few different available results (as well as some that are similar). I have to take it for a class, and it is free, so I thought it wouldn't hurt to share it. It's 120 questions. Some of them start to feel repetitive. However it didn't take me all that long.

Link: Learn Your Character Strengths, Take the Via Survey on Character

You create a little profile with a password, but it is free.

I wonder if certain "strengths" have any correlation to type (or are more or less likely to be found in people of certain types)?

My Top 5:
1. Honesty
2. Judgment
3. Fairness
4. Prudence
5. Humility

My Bottom 5:
20. Love
21. Creativity
22. Zest
23. Hope
24. Spirituality

My humanity is off the charts! lol. I have all three from that group.

1. Humor
Liking to laugh and tease; bringing smiles to other people; seeing the light side; making
(not necessarily telling) jokes.
2. Kindness
Doing favors and good deeds for others; helping them; taking care of them.
3. Creativity
Thinking of novel and productive ways to conceptualize and do things; includes artistic
achievement but is not limited to it.
4. Zest
Approaching life with excitement and energy; not doing things halfway or halfheartedly;
living life as an adventure; feeling alive and activated.
5. Love
Valuing close relations with others, in particular those in which sharing & caring are
reciprocated; being close to people.
6. Curiosity
Taking an interest in ongoing experience for its own sake; finding subjects and topics
fascinating; exploring and discovering.
7. Honesty
Speaking the truth but more broadly presenting oneself in a genuine way and acting in a
sincere way; being without pretense; taking responsibility for one's feelings and actions.
8. Love of learning
Mastering new skills, topics, and bodies of knowledge, whether on one's own or formally;
related to the strength of curiosity but goes beyond it to describe the tendency to add
systematically to what one knows.
9. Humility
Letting one's accomplishments speak for themselves; not regarding oneself as more
special than one is.
10. Social intelligence
Being aware of the motives/feelings of others and oneself; knowing what to do to fit into
different social situations; knowing what makes other people tick.

Top results:

1. Leadership
Encouraging a group of which one is a member to get things done and at the same time maintain good relations within the group; organizing group activities and seeing that they happen.

2. Honesty
Speaking the truth but more broadly presenting oneself in a genuine way and acting in a sincere way; being without pretense; taking responsibility for one's feelings and actions.

3. Appreciation of Beauty & Excellence
Noticing and appreciating beauty, excellence, and/or skilled performance in various domains of life, from nature to art to mathematics to science to everyday experience.

4. Prudence
Being careful about one's choices; not taking undue risks; not saying or doing things that might later be regretted.

5. Humor
Liking to laugh and tease; bringing smiles to other people; seeing the light side; making (not necessarily telling) jokes.

Results 2-5 seem fine, but leadership is a strange #1 for my personality. I would have expected it to be near the bottom. Granted, the literal description isn't wrong about what I can do well. It's just that the things that make me not a leading type are things not measured by this test.

Humor is interesting - my relationship with it is black-and-white, doublethink. I take life very seriously and feel justified in that, yet I still agree that humor is where it belongs in these rankings. Laughter can be used to face negative emotions or to pussyfoot around them; to relate to others or to deny uncomfortable similarities. It matters, and so I am picky about it.

Bottom results:

20. Hope
Expecting the best in the future and working to achieve it; believing that a good future is something that can be brought about.

21. Humility
Letting one's accomplishments speak for themselves; not regarding oneself as more special than one is.

22. Gratitude
Being aware of and thankful for the good things that happen; taking time to express thanks.

23. Spirituality
Having coherent beliefs about the higher purpose and meaning of the universe; knowing where one fits within the larger scheme; having beliefs about the meaning of life that shape conduct and provide comfort.

24. Love
Valuing close relations with others, in particular those in which sharing & caring are reciprocated; being close to people.

These are far less surprising. I used to rate myself as overly high in humility because of how hard I was on myself, lol. It doesn't work that way.
