Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTJ

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Thinking (Te): Measuring and constructing for progress. Making decisions objectively based on evidence and measures. Checking if things function properly. Applying a procedure to control events and complete goals.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENTJ, or INFP

"Consider ENTJ or INFP. I mean, like, they're kind of the same thing, right?"

I wonder if these tests wouldn't be more interesting if you had people who know you fairly well, (or at least believe they do), take them on your behalf.

Some of these are stupid...

Does anyone not do this:
"Freely enjoy doing what you want for your own personal happiness."

This is supposed to be Fi, but isn't this MOST people?

I know, right? But there are subtle differences. I think the keyword is freely. Some people don't allow themselves to put happiness above other things. I clicked in the middle because I unconsciously always think I "should" be doing something, and so I worry about that instead of just freely doing what I want.

The same with "freely" follow your gut instincts and exciting physical impulses. I always follow my instincts, but I'm not impulsive at all. I always think before I do things. I take intuition into account when "thinking."

INTP, ENTP, INFP

Here's a good one too, I'm sure it's on this site somewhere. But it's interesting to juxtapose the results.
http://cognitivequiz.com/quiz.html
Introverted Thinking (Ti) |||||||||||||||||||||||| 11.45
Extroverted Thinking (Te) ||||||||||||||||||||| 9.93
Introverted Intuition (Ni) |||||||||||||||||| 8.235
Extroverted Intuition (Ne) |||||||||||||||||| 8.19
Extroverted Sensation (Se) ||||||||||||| 5.8
Extroverted Feeling (Fe) ||||||||||| 4.52
Introverted Sensation (Si) ||||||||| 3.54
Introverted Feeling (Fi) |||||||| 3.25

Most Likely: INTP
or Second Possibility: ENTJ
or Third Possibility: INTJ

Interesting. Apparently Fi is highly variable according to how you define it. But defining things precisely is Ti, right?
Also the makers of the quizzes don't appear to have a consistent idea of Te and how to measure it.

Now everyone needs to go back and edit their posts with the other test results and compare them! :p

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

Says I'm INFP, s'pose that could be right some days of the week. Not sure what to make of it all, though. I believe the primary process bit, my personal conviction and identity are a strong driving force in my life, my sense of right and wrong is where I draw all of my conclusions when it comes to social things.

That's it, I'm changing my type to ISFJ.

I find that about half of the Ne and Ti statements resonate extremely well with me and half of them don't at all, and that most of the Fe questions are too specific to be meaningful.

Hmm. That's probably the best result I've gotten from this test to date. (Sorry, I saw it pop up quite a few times so I just had to take it again. :))

I've come to decide that I really don't like these tests. Everything is always way too vague and can be interpreted in too many different ways. I often find myself trying to think of a concrete example so I can relate the statement to real life, but it doesn't work out very well. Usually I don't relate to any of the sentences.

Am I just stupid or does anyone else feel this way? :shrug:

I like this test better, but they got rid of telling you how "strong" your different functions are. Now they want you to pay them.

I have probably taken this test like 6 times or something and each time got different results so don't trust these results as empirical proof and yes I was biased.

On some questions, e.g.
17. Recognize and usually adhere to shared values, feelings, and social norms to get along.
42. Stick to making decisions based on impersonal measures such as points earned.
bolded always throws me off. Measures exist, but to necessarily rely on them? Eh :shrug:

This could actually be insightful if you are answering the opposite of what you would normally.

(If these are your actual results however, I must say you're a rather persistent enigma.....)
