Hmm, I've really never posted here before? Well, let's try this again...

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ENTP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: INTP, or ENFP

Corresponding best-fit temperaments based on your profile: Theorist; secondly Improviser; then Catalyst; and lastly, Stabilizer.

Also, saving these definitions for future reference...

Perceiving—how we focus our attention and gather information

Cognitive Process Basic (Passive) Use Developed (Active) Use
extraverted Sensing (Se) Notice sensory data in the environment. Trust your instincts and take action relevant to the moment and current context.
introverted Sensing (Si) Recall tangible data and experiences. Stabilize a situation by comparing it to what is expected, known and reliable.
extraverted Intuiting (Ne) Notice abstract patterns as they emerge. Shift a situation's dynamics and explore imaginative potential possibilities.
introverted Intuiting (Ni) Receive "ah-ha" insights and realizations. Persue a greater level of awareness to transform who you are and how you think.

Judging—how we organize our experiences and make decisions

Cognitive Process Basic (Passive) Use Developed (Active) Use
extraverted Thinking (Te) Follow steps, points and time tables. Create structure, reason by measures and evidence, and implement complex plans.
introverted Thinking (Ti) Adhere to definitions and impersonal principles. Analyze a problem using a framework, and find an angle or leverage by which to solve it.
extraverted Feeling (Fe) Honor others' needs and preferences. Connect with people by sharing values and taking on their needs as yours.
introverted Feeling (Fi) Adhere to personal beliefs about what's important. Evalute situations and choose what you believe is congruent with your personal identity.

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFP

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENFP, or ISFP

Results are consistent with my self-assessed type and also the types I would consider if I wasn't INFP.

Yep, I remembered when I saw the thread earlier that I hadn't done this test for a while: "Hey! time for another run!"

I've done this several times now, seems like a pretty typical result except that this time my Fi and Ti scores are inverted compared what I would usually expect. I'm not going to read too much into this as it's only a few points. Maybe I happen to be feeling in a more "thinky" mood at present than the other times I've done the test...

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INFJ

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Feeling (Fe): Building trust through giving relationships. Empathically responding to others' needs and take on their needs and values as your own. Checking for respect and trust. Giving and receiving support to grow closer to people.

I don't remember taking this test... I'm sure I must have at some point. Is it reformatted? I really like the questions, specifically the Fi ones- it is really hard for me to test high on the Fi, even though it is there, but this test's Fi seemed to resonate. First time I didn't do so well on Se though. The suggestions were intense. I don't like the intense "thrill of the exciting moment" questions. I'm more comfortable with the "constantly reading visual cues" and more mellow stuff like that.

Type suggestions were enfp, esfp, and infp- (I guess isfp wouldn't have been a terrible selection either.) Typical results.

Ha, interesting. I think there is a point to it as I probably use Fe more than Ni, in some ways. I am an introvert, though.

Appears my Ti is growing lately, and almost dead even with Fe. Seems like my Te preferences have changed as well, but still higher than Fi. Interesting notion though... INFJ theorist.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENTJ, or INFJ

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

Interesting... Fe, Te, and Ti seem quite even with each other, just small differences between each other.
