What is my mindset supposed to be when I take this test? "Normal situations"? What counts as a normal situation?

I've taken this test once before, and it typed me overall as an ISTJ, but some of the functions seemed really out of whack for who I am. So I'm just going to double-check for consistency.
You can't spell "justice" without ISTJ.

True, I see what you mean. It's good to know I'm not the only one with these type of results... And in truth in decision making I do prefer Fi (and at times Fe) over Fe, Ti or Te, if I remembered those correct. Nothing bad about that, I suppose..

    Si - 43

    Fi - 36
    Ti - 34
    Fe - 32

    Ni - 27
    Te - 26

    Ne - 19
    Se - 19

This is roughly what I got and how I percieve myself to function. I've always wondered how Fi works for an ISFJ.

Last time I took this test. Ti was higher than Fi. They feel roughly the same.
Fe is definitely lower than both. I've got this impression that I might be underdeveloped in term of Fe.

Yes it did. Seems odd if Ni is 10 points stronger than Ne.

It called me an INFP and suggested looking at ENFP or INFJ.

    Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTP

    Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem.

    Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENTP, or INFP
And I was so certain I was a suppressed ENFP.
