    Your Cognitive Development Profile
The forty-eight questions you rated earlier tap into the eight cognitive processes. Some questions tapped into basic or developed use of a process used by itself, while other questions tapped into use of multiple processes at once. The profile below is based on your responses. The number of squares indicate strength of response. The equivalent numeric is shown in parentheses along with likely level of development.

Cognitive Process Level of Development (Preference, Skill and Frequency of Use)
    extraverted Sensing (Se) ******************** (20.5)
    limited use
    introverted Sensing (Si) *************** (15.2)
    unused
    extraverted Intuiting (Ne) ********************************************* (45)
    excellent use
    introverted Intuiting (Ni) ***************************************** (41.8)
    excellent use
    extraverted Thinking (Te) *************** (15.2)

    introverted Thinking (Ti) ********************************* (33)
    good use
    extraverted Feeling (Fe) ****************************************** (42.8)
    excellent use
    introverted Feeling (Fi) ************************** (26.5)
    average use

    Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ENFJ

    Lead (Dominant) Process
Extraverted Feeling (Fe): Building trust through giving relationships. Empathically responding to others' needs and take on their needs and values as your own. Checking for respect and trust. Giving and receiving support to grow closer to people.

    Support (Auxilliary) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: INFJ, or ENTP

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

    Say what?!

Given my knowledge of typology, this test was tricky because I had to make myself forget the things I knew in order to test correctly rather than deliberately. I really slowed myself down and asked myself is this true?

Okay, so my afterthoughts. 1) I expected my Se to be higher. 2) I expected my Fi and Ne to be MUCH lower. 3) My Te has been suggested to be higher than I thought by more than one Te user on this forum, so I can accept those results. 4) Ni, Fe, and Ti are what I expected.

I consider myself a very principled and open-minded person. Did I possibly misinterpret Fi/Ne questions based on these tendencies or am I really using these skills more than I think? /boggle

Actually, on this test, the inferior often comes out very weak, if not weakest ("unused").

Also, there are what as known as Forer effects with Fi, in the test, because it is defined as "knowing what you want for yourself", but really any type can identify with that. So it seems everyone scores high on that. (There's even a site out there, based on these definitions, that claims FJ children have trouble knowing what they want to ask from Santa!)

Also, since you're dominant Ni, then its "shadow", Ne is also "backup" to the dominant, and will likely be strong. Like dom. Ne's will often have strong Ni.
    APS Profile: Inclusion: e/w=1/6 (Supine) |Control: e/w=7/3 (Choleric) |Affection: e/w=1/9 (Supine)
    Ti 54.3 | Ne 47.3 | Si 37.8 | Fe 17.7 | Te 22.5 | Ni 13.4 | Se 18.9 | Fi 27.9

I really think the Fi and Ne, (esp. the Fi) are phrasing/parameters issues. I doubt they're that strong.

Wow; your scores are so typical for an INTP, and weak on everything ESFP.

    F'in weird.

    Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ENTP

    Lead (Dominant) Process
Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

    Support (Auxilliary) Process
Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: INTP, or ENFP
