Summary Analysis of Profile

By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ENFP

Lead (Dominant) Process

Extraverted Intuiting (Ne): Exploring the emerging patterns. Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics.

Support (Auxilliary) Process

Introverted Feeling (Fi): Staying true to who you really are. Paying close attention to your personal identity, values and beliefs. Checking with your conscience. Choosing behavior congruent with what is important to you.

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: ENTP

Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: INTP, or ESTP

Summary Analysis of Profile
By focusing on the strongest configuration of cognitive processes, your pattern of responses most closely matches individuals of this type: INTJ

Lead (Dominant) Process
Introverted Intuiting (Ni): Transforming with a meta-perspective. Withdrawing from the world and focusing your mind to receive an insight or realization. Checking if synergy results. Trying out a realization to transform things.

Support (Auxilliary) Process
Extraverted Thinking (Te): Measuring and constructing for progress. Making decisions objectively based on evidence and measures. Checking if things function properly. Applying a procedure to control events and complete goals.

If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: ENTJ, or INFP

If these results are different from what you know of yourself, you might consider why your developmental pattern does not align with your expectation. You might also consider exploring this result as a possible better fit.

The Four Temperaments
Corresponding best-fit temperaments based on your profile: Catalyst; secondly Theorist; then Stabilizer; and lastly, Improviser.

ENTP

I'm literally .2 away from equal scores between Ti and Ne. The only thing that tipped the scales is the fact that my inferior is Si, which coincides with ENTP.

what

I really don't think I marked too many "yes that's exactly me" responses on the Fe questions, except for communicating with a group and taking others' needs on

Also: how the hell does it figure ENFJ with that function order

Even though Ni is way out ahead, you have three extraverted functions after it (with two diametrically opposite ones running neck and neck), so it assumes you're more extraverted.

Couldn't it just be a code error?

Well, that's what those tests have always done. Another one was mismatching the type and temperament (Like an INFP "Theorist". Theorist is NT).

I would think they would have fixed those if they were errors, but since the tests are admittedly only a proposal, they just allow those seeming inconsistent results.

Possible

There are several Socionics tests out there that measure multiple 'traits' of types--such as Reinin dichotomies, function orders, and intertype relationships--and then weights them and throws them all together.

Perhaps this test actually does measure MBTI dichotomies and assesses the user partly based upon those. It's hard to tell, and it'd require some experimentation.

...interesting. It varies from one day to another whether I get Ne-Ti or Ti-Ne. I was already expecting a code error, because I kept getting ENTP when Ti came before Ne, but today the results seem to make sense. (I´d have to add that there is absolutely no doubt about my introversion)

What irritates me is that I tend to fall pretty much on the line between T and F when doing a dichotomy based test like Keirsey, but the cognitive function test has always very clearly put Ti before Fi.

Actually, I am getting more and more doubts about the whole concept of cognitive funtions. Could somebody please recommend some further reading on what that theory is based on? What role does neurology play in all this?
Otherwise I´ll have to convert to the Church of the Big Five :D

That's because of the strong Fe (which is why you once thought you were INFJ, and notice, ENFJ is in there as a suggestion now).

So it must be assuming that the Fe might be a strong tertiary, despite the dom/aux being so reversed. Many INTP's have Fe as weakest.

Those are my results... and prove my Te point... Ti by itself doesn't get anywhere... needs Te to demonstrate things, and that's what I do: demonstrate stuff... I am brave enough to say I don't believe, I demonstrate, I show you what is right to think!
