Wondering about patterns of interaction across various situations. Checking what hypotheses and meanings fit best. Trusting what emerges as you shift a situation’s dynamics. Support (Auxilliary) Process Introverted Thinking (Ti): Gaining leverage (influence) using a framework. Detaching to study a situation from different angles and fit it to a theory, framework or principle. Checking for accuracy. Using leverage to solve the problem. If these cognitive processes don't fit well then consider these types: INTP, or ENTJ --- not sure why it says ENTP when Ti and Ne tie with 43, but I'm no extrovert.

I recently tried it again, because last time, when I realized I really didn;t understand the Fi questions, I put "not me". But coming to learn a little birt more about the function, I figured that was unrealistic; so I upped the grade on those questions, and one or two of the Ni questions as well
extraverted Sensing (Se) ******************* (19) limited use introverted Sensing (Si) ************************************* (37.8) excellent use extraverted Intuiting (Ne) *********************************************** (47.2) excellent use introverted Intuiting (Ni) ********** (10.6) unused extraverted Thinking (Te) *************************** (27.7) average use introverted Thinking (Ti) ******************************************** (44.3) excellent use extraverted Feeling (Fe) ********************* (21.7) limited use introverted Feeling (Fi) ****************************** (30.9) good use This seems more realistic, and would explain why I might appear to be an NFP to some people. (Technical "extraverted face" is Ne-Te", and both Fi and Te above Fe. And the reason why Ne can be strongest, yet you still be an I has to do with the relative strengths. I think this test is really good, because it shows that the function strengths do not have to fall into the archetype order! Being that the functions are preferences, a person can have a preference for sweets, but then decide to eat healthier, and force himself to eat yucky dietary supplements. You then see him eating this stuff and think he "prefers" it over the sweets, but he really doesn't. But this affirms that people are much more diverse than 16 types with the functions all in the same order. So a better way to look at the functions is by the archetypal roles they fit into, rather then the strengths or visibility to the outside world. The type code then becomes an indicator of these "preference" roles, but not necessarily the order of strengths of the functions.

Exactly, Eric. That's what I like about the test myself. I get to see what I'm actually using/not using in a quantitative way.
![]() That's why I've mastered the "shimmy up the pants leg" maneuver. And no, I don't care if that sounds dirty. I'm a skunk. I'll spray you all. ![]() Quote:

Heh. This is the third time I've taken that particular test, and I think my scores get farther apart each time.

I had to take this test two times becuse my english created some problems in the process and I ended up with ENTJ.
And there is no chance that I am E. Cognitive Process Level of Development (Preference, Skill and Frequency of Use) extraverted Sensing (Se) ******************* (19.5) limited use introverted Sensing (Si) ********************* (21.6) limited use extraverted Intuiting (Ne) *************************************** (39.9) excellent use introverted Intuiting (Ni) ***************************************** (41.7) excellent use extraverted Thinking (Te) ************************************************** *** (53.3) excellent use introverted Thinking (Ti) ******************************************** (44.1) excellent use extraverted Feeling (Fe) *** (4) unused introverted Feeling (Fi) **************** (16.3) limited use Many people don't understand how someone so introverted can have so strong Te.They are always shocked when I turn myself from dumb and wordless freak into a guy who can debate everything and bash all of their arguments with ease. My family hates when I do that. I do it often and without mercy becuse I don't have Fe. This finally explains why I have the impression that I am very introverted ENTJ.
