Confirmation bias of sorts?

it can be depends on how you answer. there were a few answers that I wanted to answer one way, but knew it wasn't true so I picked the one that was true to me even if I didn't like it

that being said, I'm probably not an INTJ

This test always seems to give me ESTJ as of late. Looks like it changed as well. It looks different, and I noticed a few questions changed as well.

Pseudo Science and MBTI

ENFP

1% extrovert
62% intuitive
38% feeling
78% perceiving

It's extraordinary: we have very precise measurements, 1%, 62%, 38% and 78%, in order to give the illusion of scientific measurement.

But this is pseudo science pure and simple.

Pseudo science borrows the appearance of science for kudos and to make belief plausible.

So the pseudo science of mbti betrays the gullible.

You are in good company. The Christian Scientists have their hopes up that I will join them too.

Christian Science uses the name Science simply to increase its status.

And mbti gives the illusion it is a scientific measurement of personality.

Whereas the purpose of mbti is social control not science.

And mbti betrays the gullible.

This is less pseudo science than sloppy science. Specific numbers like this should have error bars associated with them.

Sure, and anyone with even a fleeting experience of science knows that scientific measurements have error bars.

So only the gullible believe mbti gives scientific measurements. And only the gullible would be taken in by these obviously fake scientific measurements.

And the purpose of these fake scientific measurements is to give the gullible the illusion of science so that they will be able to suspend their disbelief.

So mbti falls into the same category as religion, or art, or movies. So mbti should be subject to the same kind of criticism of those forms that require the suspension of disbelief.

However by posing as science, mbti risks losing our respect.

My preference for extraversion and judging have become significantly less prominent. They used to be in the 80's. The other two have remained about the same. Sometimes I get a marginal preference for N.
