After finishing the movie, I wanted to see where I landed in the whole scheme of things. I would assume that the majority of people would get more than one faction that they did fairly well in.

For me, I got Abnegation > Erudite> Candor

All three of them were neck and neck with each other.

They insist I have to upgrade my workplace web browser to "get the full experience" and won't let me take it.
What full experience? I just want to take a stupid test that uses radio buttons to collect data. Yeeesh.

Anyway, from other tests I've taken, I suspect I'd get Erudite and then Candor and/or Dauntless.

EDIT: I just took the test on a different site. It says I'm "divergent but closest to Erudite".
http://www.divergentfactions.com/divergent-faction-quiz.html

EDIT2: Just took the original test.

"Divergent" overall of course.
But as far as individual scores:

1. Erudite
2. Abnegation
3. Candor

Amity and Dauntless came in noticeably lower.

Yes, the the one I listed, Abnegation and Erudite traits were highest. On the link you provided, it said Erudite.

On Rail Tracer's test: Divergent, scored highest on Amity and Dauntless.
I'm insulted that Erudite is last. :irked:

Divergent/Erudite on Jennifer's, but I feel like they tell everyone they're divergent.

Of course.

I mean, if you're not Divergent, you're not cool.

Neat, I got Amity! Still, I wish I was all cool and divergent like Tris.

You can't put me in no box, society, I'm a complicated teenaged heroine!

1st test: Dauntless and Candor tie, Divergent.
2nd test: You are Divergent- But Closest to Candor

That test is dumb. I got the kind faction? What the fuck? I'm obviously in dauntless. And why are there two kind factions that seems redundant.

Is everyone Divergent? lol

Rail's test -- I'm Divergent ( lol, see above)

YOUR CHOICES DEMONSTRATE THE VIRTUES OF MORE THAN ONE FACTION,
SCORING HIGHEST IN AMITY AND ERUDITE TRAITS

Abnegation and Dauntless were a little over half the values of Amity and Erudite, and Candor was lowest

Why am I not Divergent?

Edit: Nevermind, I just looked at the top of the screen and I am Divergent.

More like the test mistakes indifference and being rational for kindness. I wonder if they will still think I'm kind if I watch someone drown while eating a hot dog.

The second test I got "You are Divergent- But Closest to Dauntless"

It's likely that people will get divergent, because these factions, even though people try to separate, isn't as separate as people make it out to be. That is, at least when it comes to real life.

If you read the last book, it really explains why almost everyone got Divergent.

Right. I haven't seen the movie, but makes sense.

Actually many personality theories could fall into that explanation.

Well, the ironic thing is that the first test is the "official" one.

It's likely that people will get divergent, because these factions, even though people try to separate, isn't as separate as people make it out to be. That is, at least when it comes to real life.

That was one of my problems with the movie and why it really comes off as a 'teen flick' versus a more mature picture. It's kind of silly to imagine a culture of adults where people only have five categories and are SO rigid about testing to the degree of not even being able to acknowledge test scores where you do well in more than one category.

Culture can shoehorn people, true, and we can even see it with MBTI here somewhat... but five categories and people are killed / kicked out for doing well in two categories? I don't think so.

EDIT: LadyLazarus: I hope so. I wasn't that impressed with the first movie.
