Yeah, but I believe both are the results of genetics and environmental factors, for there are many psychopaths who have made it very far in life and advanced the corporate ladder without shedding a drop of blood.

    The way I see it:
Sociopath: Impulsive AsPD, doesn't learn from mistakes, and is very careless (mostly environmental)
Psychopath: Calculating AsPD, learns from mistakes, very cautious. (mostly genetic)

These however, do not account for any comorbid pds like the very common among AsPD and infamous Sadistic Personality Disorder.

Most psychopaths are non-violent because they tend to be dispassionate and focused on obtaining maximal rewards. Commonly, violence offers a complicated solution to their problems that they'd prefer to avoid in favor of the simpler strategies, that's why you'd be more likely to find them at the New York Stock Exchange than behind bars.

Indeed. But unfortunately, pure psychopaths are much rarer than psychopaths with sadistic features, the latter of which are much less likely to succeed for they enjoy tearing down empires rather than creating them.

    YOUR
    SCORE 61%
Though your conscience is in the right place you also have a pragmatic streak and generally aren’t afraid to do your own dirty work! You’re no shrinking violet - but no daredevil either. You generally have little trouble seeing things from another person’s perspective but, at the same time, are no pushover. ‘Everything in moderation – including moderation’ might sum up your approach to life.

I got 21% I feel kind of lame for scoring so low!

You are warm and empathic with a heightened awareness of social responsibility and a strong sense of conscience. You like to carefully weigh up the pros and cons of a situation before you act and are generally averse to taking risks. You are very much a ‘people person’ and dislike conflict. ‘Do unto others…’ are your watchwords. But, although you avoid hurting others, those residing at the higher end of the psychopathic spectrum might not be as considerate, so stay vigilant to avoid being hurt unnecessarily.

You have to remember that Sociopaths can be any type, but you might find them more common in the SFs based on the fact that

E: Sociopaths love people, they love toying with them and manipulating them, most of them can't stand being away from their toys
S: Sociopaths can't think ahead, they are highly impulsive and don't see possibilities
F: Sociopaths make decisions based on their impulses and how their feelings would be impacted rather than the grand scheme of things, for instance, a sociopath would emotionally harm someone because he wants the psychological pleasure, but he would still act on his impulses even if it would mean his downfall.
X: Sociopaths have a very slight preference Ps, for they are very versatile instead of structured. This dichotomy is left as X however because J/P really doesn't have that much of a correlation due to the fact that many sociopaths are organized.

Common misconception about Ss, particularly SJs. We are super planners and always prepared. We do think about the future, just not in an abstract theoretical way. More in a "if this happens, then I will need to do xyz."

Nonetheless, they lack any form of foresight, though it would be possible for some sociopaths to use Ne perhaps to unravel their prey, making ENFX just as valid as ESFX.
