I probably used too high of numbers for the strengths, and socially they mostly refer to those important to me, although somewhat to people in general. It is kinda INFish overall, though.

    Subjugation very strong
    Self-sacrifice very strong
    Sosial isolation very strong

    Unrelenting standards strong
    Abandonment strong
    Abuse strong

Often a star was waiting for you to notice it. A wave rolled toward you out of the distant past, or as you walked under an open window, a violin yielded itself to your hearing. All this was mission. But could you accomplish it? (Rilke)

    Very strong
    Punitiveness
    Pessimism
Dependence (lol, my parents live in another country)

    Strong
    Insufficient self control
    Approval seeking
Enmeshment (my counselor and I talk about this, although we call it fusion)
    Emotional inhibition
    Defectiveness

    Medium
    Unrelenting Standards
Self-sacrifice (I don't believe high scores on this most of the time)
    Abandonment
    Failure
    Social isolation
    Subjugation
    Vulnerability
Entitlement (although I read one question wrong, probably weak)

    Weak
    Abuse
    Emotional Deprivation

Bipolar disorder doesn't help with all of this stuff, although my results seem a bit borderline lol. I don't like some of these questions, because people are always wont to think that they have trouble standing up for their rights, or that they are self sacrificing, when really they aren't. It's like the Ne questions on cog functions tests "I see the world as a bunch of possibilities waiting to be unravelled". Honestly, the people who should answer that question the highest are gonna be the ones who understand that they really don't view it that way.

Eh, no surprises there. The sx 6 is strong in me. It's challenging to me when the people I love push me to make my own decisions. You'd think it'd become easy upon being encouraged to choose for myself, but it almost feels like they're leaving me high and dry, with no pertinent information to base my decision on - because of course they still have preferences for the outcome. Part of me feels some degree of pride that I prioritize others, though - I like that my worldview is imbued with caring for others. I just need to get better at caring for myself, too. Most of the time I have no idea what I want, and that puts undue burden on others for deciding for me.

I think my lifetraps are mainly rooted in having lived my early childhood as a medical patient, where doing a good job living up to doctors' orders meant I got to keep being alive. Pessimism was a logical reaction to that world, which was unpredictable and uncontrollable. Fortunately, I am out of that world now - unfortunately, I still think like I am!

As for the spelling errors, the test is Finnish. As an anglophone having lived in Finland, I'd like to vouch for how incredibly fluent in English the majority of people there are. I would suggest forgiving the spelling errors. They are doing quite well overall.

Did you even take the test? By many people's estimations, I also had "a good childhood."

Then be grateful and stop moaning so much! :=P

No I didn't take the test, why would I want to depress myself by having some unqualified online amateur shrink telling me some made up symptoms he has no qualifications to diagnose, based on some unscientific test?

It's not depressing. It just points out learned behaviors that human beings carry to one another. A lot of the function of modern psychotherapy seems to break patterns that really have nothing to do with severe abuse or mental illness, but to teach people to live with themselves and each other with more love and acceptance.

I was joking in the OP about being a nutcase, I don't take the test that seriously, but I also think there's a validity to less-than-optimum behavioral patterns being passed in families, or being impressed upon someone because of their personality type, it didn't fit in with the parents ideas of "best" or something.

Anyway, "good childhood" is subjective, is my point. I had a better childhood than a lot of people, and by totally external standards (lack of beatings, regular meal times, eating dinner with the entire family, nice clothes, extracurricular activities, gifts, friends, even being educated at home as well as school, knowing my extended family) I pretty much had almost an ideal childhood...except for all of that other weird mentally and emotionally dysfunctional stuff that happened on a regular basis.

And that stuff happens in many, if not most, families on SOME level.
