The results show how likely you are - according to my math - to be each type.

I tried clearing my mind & taking the test a second time but the results are similar.

If you know your type, you can help (improve) 25quiz:
I think that I'm more introverted but maybe I'm temporarily stuck in an ESTJ frame of mind.
--------------------------------------------------------

Deferring questions until the skip option no longer functioned (I don't play video games) knocked the extroverted results further down the list.

This test is so bizarre. I took it again to see what would happen if I skipped more questions -- and I watched the pie chart as I went. I think that the ESTJ slice was the one that got bigger and bigger over the course of the first part of the test (because extrovert questions made it expand), and then for some reason it shrunk and became totally overwhelmed by the ISTJ slice. Even though almost all of the questions that, to them, reinforced ISTJ, were totally ESTJ as well. It was like the test became increasingly prone towards confirmation bias as it went on.

Does my inventory have the confirmation bias problem?

I don't know how yours is scored, so I can't say for sure.

Edit: It probably doesn't have that problem, if the answers that could apply to multiple types end up giving percentage points to each of those types. What seemed to be happening in this test was that it would only add to the most likely type to which that trait applied.

I didn't skip any and it kept asking five more... 'til I got to 40 questions
No wonders I'm confused about all this crap

I gotta say though a lot of the questions are just begging for a mistype. What person wants to admit that they are better at learning "facts and procedures" when abstract theories sound much more interesting. What's more interesting philosophy or engineering - philosophy because world views, cultures, logic, and emotions all come into play. Now if you ask me whether I prefer abstract art vs landscapes it'll be landscapes every time, because abstract art annoys me with all it's "meaningfulness" when in reality all the person did was throw paint at a canvas while they were angry. At least the "not-so-creative" landscape painter actually has some skill and cares about capturing the details.

Same with the emotional vs thinking questions. If you're a straight guy brought up in a traditional family where you tried to be a good kid then you are taught to bottle all those emotions deep down inside and never let it come out and instead be logical because you're a man and men have responsibilities; he can't just go running off to Paris on a whim if the result is financially crippling his family or losing his job.

Had to answer 35 questions. "Competency" and "Independence" were the biggest slices of the pie.

How did I get anything above a zero on those last two though??

Intimacy was the largest slice by far(I'd say 80%-90% of the pie), then it was inspiration, then it was humanity, then it was independence, then creativity, and lastly experience was smallest.

Skipping any question I felt a resistance with or like both options were important. When I didn't skip questions, INFJ was at 74%, with the rest still at under 10%.

LOL sweet mother of gaps, indeed. I am intrigued.

I skipped blatant S vs N and T vs F keyword questions, as well as questions where, if given the choice, I would have picked "neither/both/depends."
The videogame efficiency/creativity question annoys me in particular. In some of the games I have played, creativity is conducive to efficiency.
A game that 'rewards creativity' could end up using efficiency/DPS/etc. as a quantifier for creativity.

second retake with much more liberal skipping of questions:

70% INTP
10% INFP
7% ENTP
4% INTJ
4% ISTP

Spot on! I wish there were more questions, but the result is spot on for me!

I wish there were more questions too. Seems accurate. Creativity and inspirations are the right key words.

Well, ENTP is tied with INTP for cognitive function preference in other tests. But the E is inaccurate. The others are, agreeably, runners up for type.
