    Seriously, I'm so ... non-American ... that it burns (other people). This is coming from someone with US citizenship who lived in that country for the first quarter century of her life.

    I agree, though, "love" is some sort of stereotypical value.

    Yeah, "love" was too generic for me to choose. Yes, I value it highly, but I rather chose the aspects of "love" I value, e.g., Connection, Joy, Serenity, Gratitude.

    Same here, though mine were pretty stereotypical, type-wise (Honor, Respect, Honesty, Kindness, Duty) -- not quite so emotionally open (for lack of a better term).
