You are a very open minded person, but you're also well grounded.
Tolerant and flexible, you appreciate most lifestyles and viewpoints.
But you also know where you stand firm, and you can draw that line.
You're open to considering every possibility - but in the end, you stand true to yourself.

Isn't open-mindedness merely a matter of personal preference and perception? The man enforcing a strict rule or ideal may consider you close-minded to his motives and intent just as you may see him as close-minded for his unwillingness to compromise his position.

Everyone has a certain degree of open-mindedness. I suppose it is the level to which we can evaluate this degree that is important. What is commonly accepted as constituting open-mindedness also changes with time and society.

There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

"Suppose it didn't," said Pooh, after careful thought.

It's a matter of being closed-minded about how everybody should be more open-minded.

Exactly! I wonder if I could hire you to translate my conversations and posts!

And also of course that people have to wonder at the subject or context through which others are supposed to be open-minded.

Well, not really. But you may be confused on where you stand.
You don't have a judgmental bone in your body, and you're very accepting.
