    The thing is that this test seems to give everyone a different description, which makes full sense to the fact that no one is exactly the same, so it doesn't type you. But, yeah, it will pretty much say the same thing (but more specialized than mbti). The descriptions are more accurate to what we really are, aren't they?

    Mindframe… A mindframe of… Frequency of use…

    ORDER Thought Very often (Lead mindframe)
    PROACTIVITY Action Often
    CONTROL Action Often
    LOGIC Thought Often

    ORDER is the mindframe of rules. It enables you to:

    * Name, define and classify things
    * Record facts and data
    * Inspect for compliance with standards
    * Proofread text for errors
    * Put something in its proper place
    * Comply with laws, policies and regulations
    * Remember someone's name, address or phone number
    * Read and follow instructions
    * Study maps, blueprints and diagrams
    * Specify a requirement
    * Calculate how much money is available
    * Determine how much time is needed
    * Operate machinery and precision tools
    * Measure something accurately
    * Use gauges and meters
    * Troubleshoot technical problems

    The tools of ORDER are human languages, such as speech, mathematics, symbols and computer languages. They give you the ability to define, quantify and manage reality. Using the correct names for things and classifying them properly helps put everything in its place. If you learn to specify quantities and use mathematics, you can do this: "These hinges are thirty-nine cents each. But if I buy three for a dollar, I'll save seventeen cents."

    ORDER helps you establish procedures and define boundaries. This makes your actions routine and easy. Rules come in all shapes and sizes: methods, procedures, systems, instructions, schedules, standards, policies, laws and so on. Without these guidelines, you'd have to start over every morning with no solutions for anything. Learning them is one of the biggest hurdles in life.

    The highly specific, detailed left-brain mindframe we call ORDER is used extensively in administration, purchasing, resource management, office management, bookkeeping, accounting, quality control, machine and vehicle operation, technical trades, equipment maintenance and repair, drafting and technical writing. All these activities depend on dealing with facts, checking measurements and staying organized.

    These illustrations describe how the rule-based part of your mind helps you manage the details of life. Perhaps you engage the ORDER mindframe more than you realize.

    It seems I have a clear preference for LOGIC. Not surprising.
    Then it is basically a tie for the other thought patterns. Also, not very surprising.
    My propensity for action is low. Not surprising.

    Also, if I believe the order of things, it reveals a left brain preference for thought and a frontal lobe preference for action.

    I am not sure. They only have 8 actual descriptions (one for each mindframe). The seeming variety comes from further analysis of the order of mindframes.

    So the seemingly more accurate description may simply be an artifact of there being an ordering of 8 things giving you a further analysis.

    There are 8!=40320 ways to order 8 things. Even more if you consider ties.

    You have a similar thing in the eight descriptions of cognitive functions, and an ordering of their strengths (with no limits on the ordering).

    I didn't find "LOGICAL" to be more accurate of me than "Ti" (nor less) .

    If you believe their claims, the cool thing is that the mindframes correspond to sections of the brain. I know Lenore Thompson proposed something similar for the cognitive functions, but it seemed to be completely baseless.

    Accept the past. Live for the present. Look forward to the future.

    I actually kind of like this one, the division between thought and action along the four different dimensions.. it seems like it's got the potential to be a pretty useful and insightful little framework.
