The fox is very much a creature of the night and is, along with its dog relatives, the most gregarious of the carnivores. Their agile minds are always active, and although they never intend to harm others foxes have developed a reputation for slyness and manipulation. The female of the species is called a vixen for good reason: With her sharp mind and equally sharp tongue, she is best left alone when angry.

Appealing, cerebral and of average size, the fox is a close relative of both the wolf and dog personalities and displays typical canine qualities of loyalty, passion and creativity. Largely misunderstood to be a shy, retreating individual, it's the fox's unique stature as a small carnivore that defines its survival strategy. Because it cannot succeed in the world using brute force alone, it must rely on its sharp mind and engaging personality to garner resources. Consequently it spends a lot of time in its head, giving the impression that it's trying to outsmart its friends. The fox is often surprised to learn that its intellectual pursuits are intimidating.

Foxes are fussy eaters and feed on a wide range of foods. With an appreciation for the finer things in life, they demand quality in entertainment, food, and friends. A love for exploration is mixed with enjoyment in overcoming challenges, and foxes are often out climbing mountains or journeying to exotic, forbidden places.

Flamboyance is usually not the fox's style, preferring to remain inconspicuous in choose subtlety and cunning over brute strength. They live in small, cozy environments and their houses are usually organized and neat. As a hunter personality, foxes are in good physical shape and enjoy sports that challenge their mind and body.

Foxes are typically successful in the workplace, but their competitiveness and ambition sometimes make coworkers feel belittled. They would never deliberately take advantage of others, but their single-mindedness often blinds them to their feelings. So they thrive in their own businesses and like to surround themselves with family and friends in these ventures. Although they demand consensus in all decisions, they dominate discussions and steer the plans to reflect their own agenda. Competent in a wide range of fields, foxes are particularly well suited for a career as computer programmers, lawyers, doctors or professional chess players.

You are an Otter!
Small Fun-loving Communicative Unassuming Appealing Finicky
Otters are petite, engaging creatures overflowing with positive energy. Intelligent and bright, they are also popular, eminently lovable and display the highly developed social skills that typify the small carnivores. Otters mix easily with a wide range of animal personalities.

Lazy? Let's just say easily distracted. Life has so many diversions for the otter that it's impossible to predict how it will fill its day. But when an otter gets focused on a problem, its keen intelligence rises to the challenge and it will not give up until the nut is cracked.

Otters feel entitled to the good things in life and a general sense of well being gives them the confidence to not have to save for the future. A lover who wants to impress an otter should know that otters love to eat out and have a predictable penchant for sushi.

Although intelligent and witty, otters have a tendency to suffer from self-doubt and fear of failure can prevent them from living up to their true potential. Still, they are a great problem solvers, with the ability to spend endless hours on abstract or practical challenges. As workers, they are dedicated and capable and always eager for a chance to prove themselves.

Their determination makes otters valuable employees, and although they often feel that their contributions are undervalued they would rather accept lower pay than risk confrontations in their workplace.

Although they are fine motivators otters avoid taking leadership roles, performing better in group situations with their social skills coming in handy when counseling coworkers through their problems. Their dexterous hands are useful in a wide range of careers, and they're ideally suited for work in engineering, advertising, and design.

You are a Gorilla!
Large size Unpretentious Fun loving Adventurous Gentle Lazy

Gorillas are strong, unpolished individuals with a gruff exterior that conceals their soft and chewy center. They are capable, happy-go-lucky individuals with a disarming naiveté. Maybe a little hairy with a tattoo or two too, they are unpretentious and engaging creatures who brighten everyone's day with their enthusiastically warm greetings. They pay little attention to their physical condition and can even be a bit of a slob. With this tendency to be untidy, a gorilla isn't one to recycle or pick up after itself.

Even with the gorilla's warmly gruff exterior there remains an underlying sense of menace that percolates throughout its personality. Though it is built for physical confrontation, it's difficult to imagine a gorilla actually inflicting bodily harm. However, when the gorilla or its family is threatened, the transgressor quickly realizes their mistake. Its body hair standing on end and large frame at full height, the gorilla will never back down from a fight. In a child-custody battle it's better to negotiate an up-front peace with a gorilla rather than endure a prolonged and bloody battle.

Gorillas are intelligent but not overly motivated. When young they avoid formal learning, and as an adult their intelligence manifests itself as street-smarts. They have the talent and problem-solving skills to be excellent mechanics, plumbers or repair people.

Their career, however, takes a backseat to the pursuit of recreational activity and they will rarely reach great heights in business. However, if they're lucky enough to find a job that incorporates fun and physical prowess - such as a personal trainer or professional wrestler - they can certianly rise to the top of their field.

Gorillas' appreciation for the good life puts them in good stead for careers in the service industry, including the hotel and restaurant businesses, and customers appreciate a gorilla's gruff but can-do attitude.

Gorillas are unmotivated by money, and they avoid strenuous physical exertion in favor of spending their leisure time at play. Drawn to social groups, the classic gorilla scene is a group of Hells Angels revving their bikes, mimicking a gorillalike chest pounding and roaring.

You are a Swan!

640px-Cygnus_bewickii_01.jpg

Sophisticated Gentle Flighty

Throughout the ages swans have been venerated for their elegant grace and gentle beauty. So it's little surprise that these personalities attract admiration as they sail serenely through life. The swan's noble reputation is its greatest asset and it takes care to cultivate this image by always appearing calm in public.

Things are very different just below the surface... for fueling the swan's elegant glide is a high-energy paddling that consumes most of its emotional stamina. While it's common for a bird personality to exhibit this kind of emotional volatility, it is particularly noticeable in the swan when contrasted with its tranquil exterior.

Supporting a high-profile swan persona requires substantial energy, and the need for such a high metabolism can leave them feeling exhausted and drained. So when life gets overwhelming they readily take off to find a tranquil, gentle place to meditate and recharge before returning to the real world. This unsettled aspect of their personality means that you've probably moved to a different city at least once your life, or are at least planning to do so.

Appearance is important to the swan who enjoys the finer things in life and it spares no expense in pampering itself. It would be a mistake to simply dismiss it as a fragile beauty though; for it is a well traveled, worldly bird who has seen the best and worst of the human condition. Its experiences have made it a well-rounded and worldly individual who can adapt to almost any career. It has no problem with taking direction from a boss and is always prepared to accept input from others.

Its work is well integrated into its life and it strives to find balance in its career and family life. Because swan personalities are often gangly and awkward as children, they have substantial experience in dealing with difficult people and are well equipped to handle conflicts in the workplace. Their innate empathy makes them ideal therapists, doctors, nurses or personnel managers. With their natural beauty they are also well suited for careers in the arts, with a particular affinity for music, ballet and acting.
Swans in the Wild

It is thought that the long, graceful neck of these magnificent birds evolved to facilitate feeding on the bottom of the shallow waters that they frequent. Unlike most water birds, swans rarely dive and prefer instead to float serenely on the surface.

Despite their weight, swans are excellent fliers. Takeoffs can be a bit of a problem, though, and they must build flying speed by running with their broad webbed feet on a long stretch of water. Like a small aircraft, swans maneuver poorly in flight and often lose their lives by flying into telephone and power lines.

Revered throughout history for their beauty, swans feature prominently in Greek lore, where Zeus disguised himself as a swan to seduce Leda, and in medieval England, where all swans were the property of the king, who issued licenses for their private possession.

Social causes

The swan swain is monogamous and mates for life. It brings an air of sophistication to its relationships and considers itself to be a connoisseur of sex -- willing to try anything at least once, provided it's in realm of good taste.

These birds enjoy being pampered, and are willing to spoil their mates in return. If there is a weakness to its otherwise unflappable personality, it is in condoning its mate's boorish behavior, which is not always in the swan's best interests.

Swans covet their privacy and are always ready to take flight when provoked by unwelcome advances. They insist on having their private space within their relationship -- and interference in their personal affairs is the surest way to ruffle their feathers.

You are a Penguin
646px-Penguins_walking_-Moltke_Harbour,_South_Georgia,_British_overseas_territory,_UK-8.jpg

Penguin Characteristics
Witty Meticulous Intelligent Dual-natured Inscrutable Self-conscious

Scientific Name
Aptenodytes patagonica
Collective Term
A colony of penguins
Now you see it, now you don't. Aggressive yet gentle, outgoing but shy, stable yet flighty - everyone sees the penguin in a different way. It's that black and white thing: the penguin only reveals the side that it wants to you to see. So whether you like this darling-devil or not, you have to concede that it's a fascinating and enigmatic individual.

Penguins are birds condemned to live out their days on the ground. Unable to fly, their excess energy has no outlet save their creative talents and emotional outbursts. Penguins are poetic, artistic, and intellectually gifted, and as writers penguins have no equal. But, if unable to channel their impulses in a positive way, the resulting turmoil proves damaging to their relationships and careers.

Never Underestimate a Penguin Personality
Penguins are deceptively intelligent and are particularly animated when intellectually challenged. They excel at word games and puzzles but are modest about their abilities and are generally underestimated by others.

With their misunderstood personality, penguins find writing an ideal tool for expressing their true feelings. They have a natural aptitude for languages and penguin personalities dominate the world of publishing as writers, editors, and journalists.

The Penguin Personality's Career
With a natural aptitude for languages, penguin personalities dominate the world of publishing as writers, editors and journalists. A strong sense of drama draws them to the theater and cinema, although unlike typical bird personalities they avoid the spotlight unless they're able to hide behind the characters they play. Once on stage however, they prove to be excellent performers with their multifaceted personalities conveying the full gamut of emotions.

However, in many cases a lack of confidence affects their work. Penguins tend to give up on tasks they were otherwise capable of and are frequently disappointed with their performance. Still, work never dominates their lives and they always put their family first.

Penguins in the Wild
Like all flightless birds, penguins reside only in the southern hemisphere, and having found a niche in the wild, frozen wasteland that is Antarctica, most penguin species move south in winter to breed in the extreme cold. Although conditions are harsh, penguins can form large breeding groups with minimal fear of predators, and they are supremely well adapted for this environment.

Surviving the antarctic winter takes a great deal of cooperation from the penguins and they huddle together to conserve heat. As the penguins on the outside of the group begin to get cold, they are allowed by the others to move into the interior of the group to regain body heat.

Careers & Hobbies

Writer
It takes a special person to make a living a writer. Penguins are those special people. Its a lonely, frustrating and boring job. Alcohol and drugs seem to help.

Herbalist
Herbalists believe that plants in their raw form can be used as replacements for modern medicines, which typically only use the active ingredients. There is documented evidence that herbalists have plying their trade for thousands of years. Herbalism is perfect for penguin personalities who are very nature-bound.

Journalist
Penguins are known for seeing both sides of an issue and make ideal journalist. But the field of journalism is undergoing rapid change... from being unbiased reporters of the truth, to taking an eloquent stand on issues of social importance. Known as the fifth-estate, journalists are recognized to be an essential element in a functioning democracy.

Actor
It takes the emotional intelligence of a penguin to be an actor, and while it's true that some of the most overpaid people in society are in showbusiness, it's equally true that 99% of actors survive without waiting tables. So it's a great gig when you can get it.

Designer
Penguins naturally think out of the box. They have a deep understanding of the human condition and know how to push all the right buttons. Design and fashion are perfect for them.

Waiter
It's not just because waiters tend to wear black and white so much that penguins make good waitstaff. It's mainly because waiting tables is what many actors must do while waiting for the right role.

Gambling
Board games
Reading
Family time
Love & Friendship
Since penguins have the coldest feet in the animal kingdom, it's no surprise that within its conflicted bosom there beats the warmest heart of all. Unfortunately, most of us will never experience this gentle compassion, for the penguin rations it only to family and close friends.

Penguins mate for life and they make their commitments in black and white. Boredom is never an issue and it would never occur to them to look outside their marriage for stimulation. However, the flighty core of its bird personality struggles to maintain an even keel, challenging its partner's patience and endurance.

It takes a special person to flesh out the penguin's wonderful qualities and mammalian personalities like horses, moles and dogs simply do not have the tools to decipher its avian sensibilities. Neither is the penguin fully accepted by eagles, owls and roosters who look down their noses at their land-bound cousin.

True acceptance comes in the form of semi-aquatic mammals, and relationships with otters, walruses, and beavers are complete in many ways.

You are a Bat!

This is a decidedly nonconformist creature, for as an airborne personality, the bat tends to look down at the conventions of the ground animals. And yet, since it is not a true bird and has not mastered the art of smooth controlled flight, it often appears awkward in social situations (hence the phrase "acting batty"). But as compensation for this social ungainliness, many bat personalities sport a built-in radar which enables them to intuitively read the motivations of others.

Spotting a Bat Personality
Identifying bat personalities is not difficult. Being nocturnal creatures, they come alive at night and can be spotted in underground clubs or dimly lit bars. They prefer the sanctuary of dark clothing and dark corners, and you'll never see a bat sporting a heavy tan. These are intelligent, spiritual, creative individuals who use their full range of senses (other than their poor eyesight) to carefully navigate their way through life.

Bats have a habit of flitting in and out of social situations, swooping down to interact briefly with others before quickly flying off to resume their bat lives. Unassertive and aloof, they'll take flight at the first hint of a confrontation to seek comfort in their personal spaces, generally decorated in unusual but expressive ways.

The Bat's Secret Weapon
A sixth sense gives bats a number of advantages in their work, and their insightful nature enables them to understand others better than they understand themselves. This intuitiveness makes bats excellent psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and palm readers. They respond poorly to direction however, and function best as a sole practitioners in their own business. Preferring to work at night and sleep by day, a bat's job must be flexible enough to accommodate these unusual hours. A creative streak often finds them in the design and architectural fields, and their unique relationship with dark caves makes you a natural archeologist or spelunker.

Although the bat's spiritual side is always on display, they are not overly emotional. Because of their unusual and sometimes awkward approach to life they can sometimes have difficulty finding companions. However, bats respond well to anyone who shares their philosophical perspective, and they love spending long hours in deep conversation. Once they have successfully located a partner, bats prove to be both dependable and committed companions.

Bats in the Wild
While often mistaken for birds, bats of course are mammals that have chosen to abandon the world of the terrestrial and adopt the nocturnal, airborne environment in which they thrive. Although a number of other mammals are able to glide , bats are the only ones to have achieved real flight. Highly skilled hunters, bats have been able to infiltrate a variety of geographical niches using all manner of feeding techniques. From the famous bloodsucking vampire to the tiny pollinating fruit bat, their nocturnal flappings evoke an image of a mysterious and vaguely repellent rodent on the wing.

Love & Friendship
Bats are enamoured with the idea of love more than they are with its colder realities. Decidedly romantic, they are prone to flights of extraordinary fantasy. And it's not the traditional Ken and Barbie type of romance that tickles its fancy either. It's the Anne Rice kind: dark, moody and gothic.

A lover able to tap into the bat's rich world is in for some delightful intrigue and although it's no easy task finding one's way into the bat's mysterious heart, the fox personality makes the air/land transition quite well. The fox's incisive mind and adventurous sexual spirit intersects perfectly with the bat's quirky fascination for the nighthunt. Perhaps this is why another term for the bat is flying fox.

Warthog

Average to large size Industrious Bright Brave Blunt Cranky

Warthogs are those seemingly self-assured individuals who are never at a loss for words. Their bellicose behavior dominates all aspects of their successful lives (a la Donald Trump.) Neither polished nor good-looking, warthogs have stumbled upon a unique combination of aggression and charisma and have adopted it as their survival strategy. Although these ultra-intelligent animals are self-centered to the core, they do have a few redeeming qualities that make them worthy of business partnerships and interesting relationships.
The Warthog's Personality's Daily Life

Little pride is taken in their physical appearance and they are homely in both personality and countenance. Preferring intimidation and bluster in achieving their goals, they have little inclination to observe social niceties. Their distaste for etiquette also extends to their backbiting and manipulation, but they can be quite charming when the situation calls for it.

With their uncanny ability to discern the motives of others, warthogs are masters at spotting weaknesses in their opponents. But as is typical of most herbivores, their swaggering behavior stems from deep insecurities. Hostility is a wonderful defensive tool, made even more potent when combined with a quick tongue and sharp mind.

Warthog reading habits reflect their personalities, and they're more likely to be reading The Game than Eat, Pray, Love. Reflected in their unkempt personal living quarters, their personal life is disorganized and resembles a pigsty. Warthogs thrive on clutter and chaos.
The Warthog's Personality's Career

A warthog's active mind is always on the lookout for opportunities, and they are canny business people. They respect strength and loyalty in others, and their excellent negotiating skills stand them in good stead in their business dealings. They persevere until their goals are met, even if it means fighting dirty or breaking the law to do so.

It's common for warthogs to be self-employed. With their self-discipline and strength of character, they are formidable business adversaries. They reward loyalty but have a vindictive streak for those who cross swords with them. Their tempers often overcome their good judgment.

Warthogs make excellent personal injury lawyers, salespeople, mercenaries or poker players. Even though warthog personalities are almost universally disliked they are able to succeed by determination alone.
Warthogs in the Wild

The warthog is an odd quadruped. It has a flat, almost concave head ornamented with four large warts, two razor-sharp curling tusks, and a thick, sinewy neck.

Warthogs are principally grazers but have been known to take carcasses abandoned by other carnivores or an animal that has died from natural causes. Its neck is too short for easy feeding on the sparse grass of the African plains, and it is often seen on its knees, gazing and rooting along the dusty veldt.

Warthogs are virtually fearless and have been observed turning the tails on pursuing leopards or elephants. Sows with young are particularly bold and do not hesitate to make physical contact with marauding predators.
Careers & Hobbies
Personal injury law
Mercenary
Rug merchant
TV commentator
Poker
Hockey
Confrontations
Gardening
Football Gambling
Love & Friendship

The warthog uses its intense personality to barrel into a lover's life. By saying the right things long enough to get its foot in the door, it will quickly take control of the relationship.

As a lover, the warthog is usually selfish but will please its partner if it expects to receive something in return. Ideal partners are individuals that actually enjoy being dominated and the timid snake, cottontail and shrew personalities make for satisfyingly submissive sexual liaisons.

There's an odd quirk to the warthog personality. It will occasionally fall head over heels for its partner and act like a lovesick puppy. However, since the warthog hates the feeling of being out of control, it soon pulls itself together and resumes its boarish behavior.

The warthog's relentless manipulation tends to scare off potential partners. If it wants a good run for its money and is willing to take a chance, interesting things will happen when it gets together with a baboon or a bison. These animals stabilize the warthog and enduring relationships are not uncommon.

Excuse me, real animal coming through.

Im a mother fucking crocodile because the test doesnt have dragons.

Crocodile Characteristics
Tough Street-smart Self-reliant Passionate Conceited Ruthless
Scientific Name
Crocodylus niloticus

Collective Term
A treachery of crocodiles

Crocodiles are lean, leathery individuals with air of wariness that comes from living on the edge. Their skin is often decorated with scars or tattoos. But crocodiles are not always easy to identify, because their survival strategy is based on misdirection and camouflage. As natural predators crocs attack without subtlety or intelligence, using any weapon at their disposal.

Crocodiles prefer docile prey, as the more unwary their victims the less likely they are to struggle. They think nothing of using dirty tricks to gain an advantage and have little sense of honor.

Be Cautious Around your Crocodile Friends
Crocs have little conscience, compassion, or guiding philosophy save that of survival and self-interest. Beware the crocodile's tears, because although they may run freely they do not run deep.

Living on the fringes of society, crocs avoid mainstream locales and prefer dimly lit, grimy hotels for their pursuit of food and entertainment. They ply their nefarious crafts by both day and night and are masters of disguise. Their ability to mask their true colors allows them to befriend unsuspecting victims, usurp their resources and then disappear.

Crocodile Personalities Serve a Purpose
They do serve a useful service to society however, doing jobs that others find too unpleasant. With their talent for disguise, they are excellent private investigators, doing deep undercover work that reputable companies shun.

Because of their ruthless natures, they are also hired by legitimate businesses as bouncers or personal bodyguards. Some enterprising crocodiles go into their own businesses as gang-members, drug dealers, hired killers and second-story men, but all too often find their true calling as common thieves or conmen.

Crocodiles in the Wild
Among the most feared animals in nature, these cold-blooded creatures are masters of their domain. Adults have no natural enemies and will ruthlessly attack all creatures who enter their realm.

They are distinguishable from their close relatives the alligators by the shape of their snouts. The size of a crocodile can vary greatly, sometimes reaching lengths of twenty feet.

To assist in their lives in the water, crocodiles will swallow several pounds of stones to help stabilize their bodies. This technique is useful for younger crocodiles who are naturally top heavy and need the weight of the stones to keep them from capsizing.

Crocodiles are unquestionably man-eaters, but it is arguable just how dangerous they are. It seems that most of the killing is only done by a few individuals, while others prefer their regular diet of deer, rodents, and even young crocodiles. Because of their tendency for cannibalism, juvenile crocodiles are always separated from the adults when basking.

Careers & Hobbies
Soldier
Undercover cop
Bodyguard
Bail bondsman
Gambling
Hunting
Fishing
Swimming
Love & Friendship
Perhaps it is a misnomer to call a crocodile a lover, for there is no tenderness in the way it conducts its sex life. Its mating style is cold-blooded and mechanical, for crocs prefer to devour their conquests whole. Being on the receiving end of such a coupling is a matter of putting up with bruises, bite and scratch marks.

But the crocodile is never lonely. Like its reptilian cousin the snake, it attracts an odd assortment of submissive and masochistic followers willing to cater to its dark desires.

Crocodiles like to keep score of their conquests and in their mission to pile up the points they target the careless and vulnerable.

If a crocodile were to seek a permanent relationship, its best shot would be with the snake personality who identifies with the crocodile's stealthy ways. Possiblities for animalistic water sports also exist with the lonely hippo whose plump frame proves irresistible to the croc's powerful appetites.
