My actual read (which is only part of the story)

    Your Inner Child Is Sad
    You're a very sensitive soul.
You haven't grown that thick skin that most adults have.
Easily hurt, you tend to retreat to your comfort zone.
You don't let many people in - unless you've trusted them for a long time.
I actually let people in with a lot of things and just suffer when they happen to let me down.

You've been engulfed by pessimism and despair.
You're probably depressed and feel empty inside.
You isolate yourself from others, because they can smell the rotting corpse of happiness inside your body.
You may either be highly neurotic, or aware of your problem, but have no confidence in your abilities, and don't beleive you deserve happiness.
I was going to post that as a partial joke but you beat me to it. Sigh.
So ... especially because no one else asked...what's the deal?

My inner child has been resurrected, although it was a painful, arduous, long-term endeavor.
So it's possible. You don't have to stay dead.

Like a child, you tend to discount social rules.
It's just too much fun to break the rules!
You love trouble - and it seems that trouble loves you.
And no matter what, you refuse to grow up!

    Your Inner Child Is Happy
You see life as simple, and simple is a very good thing.
You're cheerful and upbeat, taking everything as it comes.
And you decide not to worry, even when things look bad.
You figure there's just so many great things to look forward to.

    Your Inner Child Is Angry

    You're not an angry person.
But when you don't get your way, watch out.
Like a very manipulative kid, you will get what you want.
Even if it takes a little kicking and screaming.

ROFL! For some reason I find this funny...probably because it's slightly true?

    Your Inner Child Is Surprised

You see many things through the eyes of a child.
Meaning, you're rarely cynical or jaded.
You cherish all of the details in life.
Easily fascinated, you enjoy experiencing new things.
    Maybe I'm secretly an ENFP...

My inner child reared its crazy head just after midnight last night. Its a bitch when you can't play/wind people up at that time of the night.

Another Angry Inner Child result that resonates all too well over here.

    ... I thought I had a happy childhood?

The Inner Child is a charming metaphor. And it is far more useful to learn what a metaphor is than to be naively entranced by the Inner Child.
