This was a fun question:

7. I would least like being called
(A) an idealist
(B) a logical positivist
(C) a humanist

You called me a "logical positivist"! Oh no you didn't! OH NO YOU DID NOT!

Haha!!!

j/k

Edit - sorry about the post, I just had my first real caffeine of the day.

intuiting = 18
feeling = 10
thinking = 6
sensing = 3

so does that mean in order of strength of preference I am N-F-T-S (top row?)

Yes, I think that's the key to understanding these results. Each option results in either 1 or 2 points for each function/letter. So your strongest preference was for iNtuition.

N-T-F-S = iNtj, iNtp, eNtp, eNtj
T-N-S-F = inTp, enTj, inTj, enTp

I'm surprised at the high thinking and low feeling score. Something seems off there....

Your MBTI on the left says ENtP. Are you saying the T and F scores should have been closer?

Well I do think my N/S preference is clearer than my T/F preference, but also Prplchknz tested as a T so I think this isn't just my own type instability, perhaps something weird about how this test is measuring T/F.

If there is something weird about it, then it may have to do with Fudjack's own personal preference. Or maybe you've learned something new about yourself from it.

I don't know what Dinkelaker (who I know is a female type 4) even had to do with this test. It just seems like Lennon-McCartney. Even if just one of the duo wrote the music, the other one shares credit for it.

1) those are seriously funny names

2) I think this test just called me an NT

N = 20

S = 1

F = 7

T = 8

It's very close though, only one point, so I'm not taking it seriously.

As far as I can tell your function preference is NT. According to this test. According to whether or not you understood the word "desultory" lol. The terminology gave me trouble and I'm a type 5, if that means anything.

It appears that this part
N-F-T-S = iNfj, iNfp, eNfp, eNfj
F-N-S-T = inFp, inFj, enFj, enFp
N-T-F-S = iNtj, iNtp, eNtp, eNtj
T-N-S-F = inTp, enTj, inTj, enTp
S-F-T-N = iSfj, eSfp, iSfp, eSfj
T-S-N-F = isTp, esTj, isTj, esTp
S-T-F-N = iStj, eStp, iStp, eStj
F-S-N-T = isFp, esFj, isFj, esFp

comes out the same for everybody. The interesting results are just above that.

Dusultory is what I am!!!

In fact, I'd say an NT would be less likely to be dusultory than an NF. Seems like a very NFP trait or even SFP trait. "lacking a plan or a purpose, jumping from one subject to another in a half-hearted, unfocused way"...

The bottom part is simply a KEY to help you identify what your results mean.

Like if your strengths were N-T-F-S then supposedly you're an NT. I would say you'd specifically be an ENTP or INTJ.

But the test seems skewed toward T, or it is confusing Feeling with being "nice."

weird questions. "how much elevated language can we use instrument challenge"

i felt like some of the feeling-oriented answers were pretty mushy.

intuiting =18
sensing =4
feeling =8
thinking =7

N-F-T-S = iNfj, iNfp, eNfp, eNfj

well, good job, test.

Ok, so if Jaguar above scored T-N-S-F = inTp, enTj, inTj, enTp, then that means his type is likely to fall somewhere in that spectrum of four types.

TNSF sounds like ENTJ.

Te/Ni/Se/Fi

Which is why I said mine NTFS would be either ENTP or INTJ ...Ne/Ti/Fe/Si....and I have mistakenly gotten ENTP on other tests skewed toward thinking, where they have confused feeling with "niceness" or "weakness."

The high intuiting and sensing scores also correlate well with your Synthesist-Realist score on the Bramson test.

Well, I did learn that i should expand my vocabulary some more :laugh:

As far as type goes, not much, since my self-typing as ENtP is a very recent development. I thought for sure that I was INTP several years prior to that. But as of lately my T/F have been somewhat close while N has been more obvious.... so I'm not shocked but just a little surprised now when there is a huge T/F gap. Like Marmie said, there may be too much of a focus on F-"niceness".

@ TG: you would be T,N, F, S
closest in the list to your results is:
T-N-S-F = inTp, enTj, inTj, enTp

My results....

intuiting =14
sensing =2
feeling =8
thinking =13
N-T-F-S = iNtj, iNtp, eNtp, eNtj

Surprised my "feeling" score was low on this one.
