I got this. I'm a little bit confused now. I never thought I could be an INFP, but the description of the type is not too far out either :/

At first when I was taking this I was like "this has got to be terrible with it forcing my choices between things that do not contradict." I'm still not sure how accurate it is, but the results are interesting and I am a fan of the long report (the free one)

ISTJ 34%
ISFJ 33%

INFJ 76%
INTJ 77%
ISTP 55%
ISFP 53%

INFP 74%
INTP 76%

ESTP 40%
ESFP 39%

ENFP 81%
ENTP 82%

ESTJ 42%
ESFJ 39%

ENFJ 60%
ENTJ 63%

and interesting given my results from back in 2008:

ISTJ 49% ISFJ 45% INFJ 67% INTJ 71% ISTP 62% ISFP 55% INFP 65% INTP 72% ESTP 41% ESFP 37% ENFP 59% ENTP 63% ESTJ 43% ESFJ 36% ENFJ 46% ENTJ 53%

And from the descriptions given for ENTP and ENFP on the report, I could easily see myself as a sort of hybrid of the two. I read the descriptions now for INTP and INTJ and something is just a little bit off (even if some of the evidence still points to such...)

Am I totally deluded at this point or is this test actually pretty good?

How many of you have taken the MMDI (Mental Muscle Diagram Indicator)? Were your results consistent with your type?

If you want to take the test (free), here's the link:

Free personality tests: find out your type

I found this test interesting because the choices don't follow the typical MBTI format, plus the results are displayed in a way that allows you to see your strength in your type in relation to the other 15 types.

ISTJ 66% ISFJ 70% INFJ 57% INTJ 54%
ISTP 48% ISFP 55% INFP 49% INTP 42%
ESTP 51% ESFP 54% ENFP 42% ENTP 38%
ESTJ 59% ESFJ 66% ENFJ 60% ENTJ 53%

Interesting test, but it is based on the false assumption that your function preferences determine your J and P values. In fact, it only tests for Ni,Si,Ne,Se,Ti,Te,Fi,Fe. On this basis, it can't decide your 4-value preference, such as ESTJ, without first making the unwarranted assumption that a person with Te dominant and Si auxillary is automatically regarded as an ESTJ.

your dominant function is iNtuition and very introverted
your auxiliary (second most important) is Thinking and very introverted
your tertiary (third) is Feeling and very introverted
your inferior (fourth) is Sensation and very introverted

I'd probably be closer to the INTP actually.

This is the general assumption with Jung and all of the cognitive function tests I've seen. Most people here will are going to disagree with you.

Definitely N-dom lol.

Though the test says I'm probably an INFP, possibly an ENFP, it shows that I have a stronger preference for Ne than for Fi. So I sort of question this test validity...

^ Hehe, I am also definitely N-dominant of some sort according to this test. Interesting, since of the things that I've been reading lately, I am a little torn between Ne and Ni. But then, letter by letter, I'm like 80% P, so...

Did this test actually say that you are Ne dominant and Fi secondary? If so, yeah that's weird.... percentage is one thing but preference is another.

i'm guessing it returned INFP as your primary result because you scored significantly high on Si and significantly low on Te - with a wide enough Si>Te gap to supercede the Ne>Fi preference gap.

at least personally, i find that N dom carries over a lot and that Ne can perform a lot of Ni-attributed functions, and vice versa. sometimes Ni doms seem Ne-y and Ne doms seem Ni-y. i think your dominant is a big deal cause it ends up coloring almost everything you do. combine it with your aux and you can get something that looks a bit like Pi fairly often, even though it's not. not that that helps you choose which you are... just a general observation ^_^;
