i don't like the time limit, why can i only like 1 thing every 3 seconds? why are you trying to stifle the positivity i am trying to express to the forum/the world??

what's really the point of this?

just curious as to what the purpose of implementing a "like" system on the forum is... we already have a rep system and that's generally good enough to express quick thoughts or approval of things... anything actually visible is just asking for people pandering to popular opinion again it seems

I'm not sure if we can do this. Will keep looking at the options though.

Ok, email notifications are turned off. I left the other notifications on though. Are you suggesting turning off both?
Yes, because I get so many likes to my posts I can't keep up with them all.

and if your gonna get rid of like notifications then we need to know who liked it on the forum. some people's likes are sarcastic, so either keep notifications or who likes what in the thread.

or even better give the user the option to turn off or on the notification

    You're right . It's set to exactly 3 seconds.

I changed email providers, I'm subscribed to this thread, your post should have appeared in one of my email boxes but it didn't.

I kind of feel like we did this already when reputation was positive or negative and always on display.
