They're tired of the cock carousel and they see a guy like me as the perfect beta to settle down with before their eggs dry out … when I get tired of them I just delete their numbers from my cell phone and stop taking their calls … It doesn't really hurt them that much: at this point they're used to pump & dump!''

    I rule the whole downunderverse!

[Trump's] rhetoric is not an abuse of power. In the same way that it's also not against the law to do a backflip off of the roof of your house onto your concrete driveway. It's just mind-numbingly stupid and, to say the least, counterproductive. - Bush did 9-11

Let's see if this thread is sent to off topic as well.

It's amazing how worked up people become over a forum. There is nothing you can do. Life is unfair. Even if you manage to force this one forum to change to your values there will be countless others where your values are not enforced. The actualisation of your values (whether in a localised or global setting) will not enrich your life in the way you predicted or hoped. Life is a bitch like that. Such is the foolish futility of activism. You win the battle but will never win the war.

On a scale from 0-10 how bad was the logic applied in the paragraph above?

Your premise is off. The people who are attracted to those values keep this forum alive. Fortunately, there are more who are for them than there are against them.

Maybe you guys could shut down the forum for a week or something. I've noticed that people usually come back friendlier after those.

    Hello Standuble,

Your post reminded me of one of my favorite quotes:

"Inside every cynical person, there is a disappointed idealist"
"The most merciful thing in the world, I think, is the inability of the human mind to correlate all its contents... Some day the piecing together of dissociated knowledge will open up such terrifying vistas of reality, and of our frightful position therein, that we shall either go mad from the revelation or flee from the light into the peace and safety of a new Dark Age. " - H.P. Lovecraft
