    Lacho Calad! Drego Morn!

Mightier than the tread of marching armies is the power of an idea whose time has come

Sounds like a stressful exit, hope to see you peeking around still. I enjoyed getting mad at you.

Aww, that's too bad. I always enjoyed your perspective. Fare thee well!
I think I think more than you think I think.

Ah, thanks Jennifer. Appreciate the warm send-off.

To be honest with everyone, my rationale for leaving was that moderating just wasn't fun anymore. I found myself getting pulled into petty interpersonal issues that really polluted my capacity to enjoy intellectual exploration of ideas - the fundamental reason I joined this forum in the first place.

This is a long time coming. So, no Elaur - this wasn't a stressful decision. Quite the opposite actually.

I might come back, though not in the capacity I once was. Moderating is a stressful, thankless job - you should all be very grateful that you have such competency in volunteer staff. It's actually kind of an amazing sociological case study, but that's really another story.

Anyway, no worries. I'm relieved. I have a baby on the way and a doctoral thesis to explore! I think my ability to participate was on a downward spiral anyway.

    Take care everyone,
    Aaron

there's no word for 'good-bye' in the Sioux Language, only one for see you soon!

    Mitakuye Oyasin!
Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?

    All the best, my friend.

    Keep in touch, old fella'.

Your fairness, even-handedness and generosity of spririt will be remembered.

    No good deed goes unpunished.

Be magnanimous in your victories. I'm sure there will be many.

Take care of yourself and little Night/Nightess.

You're a good lad. There's not too many good lads around these days.

    Bonaventure.

I am so sorry to hear Night is departed.
He was one of the very best posters.
And it is our fault, of course, not his. We should have done more to match his standard.
    Now it is too late.
I do hope he comes back, some day.
