    I don't get how the points are counted. I've got 6 comments and one 'non comment', but yet I have 29 points.

    Hypothetically, it means you have mass appeal - a range of folks from newbies to less new members to senior members and likely mods/mins have voted for you.

    A freshie like me would only give you one point.

    Someone like yourself with >1K posts and > 90days would add 3 points.

    The modders and minnies have unknown powers.

    Refer that earlier post from NPG/Haight in this thread. .

    I would never say that, Rajah!

    (I mean, I might program a pop-up to say it, but *i'd* never say it.)

    So I haven't really partaken in this new system so maybe it's the jelousy talking. But why not just respond to the person in the thread? I mean we're all (most) anomyous. It's not like anyone's going to really know who the commenter is, and can't go after them with an axe. So what's the point? Fine we can boost and or deflate our egos yay! but besides that?

    Just in testing, I mod with +3 points; if this logic holds true, I should have;

    +2 from days (225 days since registering),
    +2 from posts (>2000)
    +1 (default, I assume).

    Not sure if that's accurate, or if it stacks that way, but FYI.

    OMG! So we DO get prizes! ::yess!!!::

    Haight and Madmins et. al. -- I reserve the right to substitute my bowling trophy with a girls softball trophy instead. And I like silver vs. bronzed.

    Thank you.
