If you have a Five-wing you should be able to identify with type Five descriptions, but it´s not the same as actually being a Five. 5w4s and 4w5s are similar in some ways, but very different in others. Fours are reactive, whereas Fives are compliant types. That´s one difference, which you can see if you observe people of both types.
Sometimes it seems obvious to me that someone is a 5w4. It´s a certain kind of vibe, a display of pattern.

They're completely different. It's just a strong wing can cause mistypings. Fives are objective/Fours are subjective.

Now, I simply disagree. The type of your wing blends into your main type. Even if they didn´t Fours and Fives are both withdrawn types. No two enneagram types are completely different from each other, they have at least one similarity.

Doesn't that go without saying? I just meant there's a clear line of delineation. Let's state the obvious a few more times.

3w4

It seems 3s are more like to be extroverts, but I am not an extrovert. I guess I just have an extroverted persona at times.

You wrote “They´re completely different”. It wasn´t obvious that you only meant there´s a clear line of delineation.
Misunderstandings happen sometimes.

I don't know, but I really haven't put my mind to enneagram yet.
I score type 5 and 9 the most, but the top four are always the same. And I do identify with them the most.
But tests are tests.
I don't know, so could someone give me a nudge to the right direction? *offers cookies* I think I'm nine..?

9 51 I must be peaceful and easy to get along with to be happy.
2 48 I must be helpful and caring to be happy.
3 45 I must be impressive and attractive to be happy.
1 44 I must be perfect and good to be happy.
7 37 I must be high and entertained to be happy.
4 36 I must avoid painful feelings to be happy.
8 34 I must be strong and in control to be happy.
6 30 I must be secure and safe to be happy.
