The best solution is to make the place a sex convention.

That elephant thing was really sad I remember seeing that on TV.

Sounds like wildlife officials should implement some wildlife diversity training to teach the monkeys how to behave!

I expect that at least part of this story is exaggeration on the part of the locals

For an example of such exaggeration, see British blamed for Basra badgers

Wow that is disturbing and hilarious.

Perhaps the monkeys' gestures and language should be studied so that the problem can be addressed in their own language and on their terms? Maybe the women should gesture back? It might be a way of establishing boundaries or something.

Think like a monkey, walk like a monkey, talk like a monkey...

Necessity has no law.

Show 'em who's boss.

I know, I had this image in my head of, you know, TOMB RAIDER running through the jungle shooting at sexual harrassing monkeys.. that was ruined when it said

"The town has been warned by the Kenya Wildlife Service not to harm or kill any of the monkeys, as it is a criminal offence."

it's like, okay that's weird.. whatever happened to "every citizen has a right to bear arms in defence of himself."? LOL

Hire some men to sexually harass the monkeys back, and hope the monkeys are really homophobic.
