if people don't really recommend trying to type children...but you're always the same and specific types act a certain way as children...then...why can't you type children? or can you?

I'm sure you can, but I know jack shit about kids. Trust 'em about as far as I can kick 'em too!

I'm thinking it's because the kids don't have their fully developed personalities because they don't have enough experience/intelligence. For example, my personality as a kid was significantly different from what it is now.

of course you can ask a question :)

im sorta gonna say what above said. they arent nearly developed (and personally i dont think a person is completely developed or at least their personality isn't evident fully till their around 20) enough to tell. BUT their are exceptions of course. typing kids by using the temperaments is an excellent way to type. i typed my ex girlfriends sister (who was around 8 at the time, maybe younger) and so far she fits her description (ENTP) beautifully. we even read her the description and she freaked out because it was so close. some kids (like people) are harder to type then others
