It's funny because even though I'm tired in this sense, I have a lot of trouble getting to sleep.

I wonder if we have any other types that would like to weigh in on this?

    What type were you before?

I have heard some extorverts say they became more wirthdrawn during depression. Maybe INJ is not your real type, but just a reflection of depression.

Yes. I believe Bilbo always put it best for me in Lord of the Rings: "Why, I feel all thin, sort of stretched, if you know what I mean: like butter that has been scraped over too much bread." That is the kind of tired I feel more often than not.

Yes. In fact before I logged in I considered taking a nap.

I'm pretty sure all types are tired.

I am, most definitely one of these: under too much stress, INJs are the type of people who will crawl into bed and try to stay there as long as possible.

Same here, starting around the age of 6 or so.

Yeah, this misunderstanding is killer. People can tell you're burnt out/tired/etc, but their attempts to solve it actually make it worse for you, because they have no clue that you don't operate in the same manner as they do.

I was INTP some five years ago, so it's not the case... I've always been Introverted Intuiting (though I'm even more introverted now than before).

Interesting observation. I still think it's just a part of our wiring though.

What helped me deal with the drain that is the world outside my head, was a balanced diet consumed on a regular basis and exercise a few times a week. I use to forget to eat. I am much better able to function when I'm as healthy as possible.

I may need to try this, if I can manage to drag myself out of bed one day.

Thinking back to what 01011010 said...

Maybe INJs are so tired because they're bad at taking care of themselves? Inferior Se and all. Forgetting to eat and exercise for long enough will fuck with your head.
