A quick test

Hello. So, I'd like to conduct a quick test. I'm working on a theory and any input you can give me would be great.

(I apologise for the rubbish quality photos, I don't have a scanner at the moment and my webcam isn't great. Also, don't focus on anything but the shapes - the writing at the top is from a reading comprehension exercise and has nothing to do with the test.)

Below is a shape.


Now, I'd like you to choose three of the numbered shapes below to construct it.


Please post your answers below. Once I've got a good sample size, I'll explain what this is about.

9 8 6 you put 9 on the bottom then 8 on top and 6 goes on top of 8 but is pushed to the corner of 8.

(is that what you want) I don't get what this does. is it to see how many people will take a test online?

Also, my first instinct was to use the first line 4 times, then the circle and dot. I don't recall the specific order I first did it in (correctly), as I glanced at it and answered, then came back to the original thread a few minutes ago and saw the explanation; I find it rather interesting. I think that I did it 689 but, again, I'm not sure.

I'm going to choose the obvious route and go with 9,8, and 6. It's undoubtedly the simple minded answer, it seems too obvious, but I feel lazy so there you go.

Actually, b, d, and f were all correct in the top bit. It was from a reading comprehension activity on the other page. The arrow is because 'special characters' referred to the numbered shapes. The Japanese doesn't matter, so don't worry about it.

689. If I drew the shape, I would just plot the middle dot down, draw the circle unevenly around it, and then draw the square as the diameter corresponds with the length of each side.
