Most fascinating thing about this is the monkey with a laptop.

(I apologise for the rubbish quality photos, I don't have a scanner at the moment and my webcam isn't great. Also, don't focus on anything but the shapes - the writing at the top is from a reading comprehension exercise and has nothing to do with the test.)

    Below is a shape.

Now, I'd like you to choose three of the numbered shapes below to construct it.

Please post your answers below. Once I've got a good sample size, I'll explain what this is about.
Will we ever know the answer?

'One of (Lucas) Cranach's masterpieces, discussed by (Joseph) Koerner, is in it's self-referentiality the perfect expression of left-hemisphere emptiness and a precursor of post-modernism. There is no longer anything to point to beyond, nothing Other, so it points pointlessly to itself.' - Iain McGilChrist

    Screw the obvious answer.

I'd take the line and stretch it out nice and taut, then crease it in four places such that it forms a square shape. I would accomplish that by wrapping it around the diamond. Then, I'd stretch it a bit more on all sides.

I'd then crumple the squiggly line so that it forms the solid ball.

Then I'd use the hollow circle as the hollow circle.

    Ah, an unconventional approach awesome!

I don't know how to use spoilers, so shield your eyes if you haven't come with an answer (if you haven't come up with one, I don't know what you're doing on this page). I glanced at it and immediately thought, "9, 6, and 8, (technically, I thought of the corresponding shapes, but whatever) and zoom in on 'em."
