He's the only person outside of my family that I've ever blown up on like that. The thing is, I would NEVER incessantly criticize someone like he was doing to me (this had been going on for months). It's bogus.
    The question is, was he the one being confrontational, or was it me? o.O

    < that's my confrontational style
    You hem me in -- behind and before;
    you have laid your hand upon me.
    Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,
    too lofty for me to attain.

    I don't go way out of my way to avoid conflict but I don't try to seek it out either. I will say something if it needs to be said. Because of this, I do get labeled as confrontational or even aggressive...um, okay.

    Depends on what it is.

    i tend towards non-confrontational, but certain people or situations change that.

    I'm not, unless yo're wrong and impacting me or something/someone I care about.

    I'm not NF but people constantly suggest I'm hostile, confrontational, challenging, domineering male, take your pick, I'm just not full of shit and despise ambivalence or confused conversation.

    I am predominantly conflict prone, not that I cause it-- rather, I tend to respond to, or engage with it. This is regardless of the nature of the individuals involved, friend or stranger makes no difference to me. It's been awhile since I was in a physical altercation, but I'm quick to speak up, especially if I think someone has been wronged or hurt.

    Conflict aversion itself drives me nuts. There's nothing worse than someone telling me about a problem, and then refusing to face it.

    NFs do not really fear conflict. We just think it's pointless to fight over something that could be resolved peacefully.

    That's called diplomacy
