I liked ygolo's approach to this. So I'll copy it.

My closest friends through various phases of my life have been these types (as far as I can tell):

    1) INTP
    2) INFP
    3) INTJ
    4) ISFJ
    5) ESTJ, ISFP, ISTJ

Though I can name a friend in my life of every type (um, I think so anyway - I have trouble typing people unless I spend a lot of time with them, either at work or socialising).

    INTJ (I like myself alot)
ENFP(This type is the most fun and enjoyable)
ENTJ(My extroverted brother, we share many beliefs)
ENTP(Fellow NT, but is different enough from me to be really interesting)
INFJ (I once met an INFJ, who I really admired, plus INFJs are the closest type to INTJs)

It can really depend on the individuals, so this is the closest I can get.
    INTP/INFJ
    INFP/ENFP
    INTJ/ENTP
    ISFJ/ISTP
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
