    I just happened to only respond to you when I disagree, up until now. I didn't factor in any kind of codependency. I'll have to go back to my old policy. To continue your metaphor, I'm worried that you might end up slipping the DJ a bill to play a slowdance and then try to cop a feel.

    people want to hate on keirsey, but honestly, why should I believe "the functions" are anything more than a "nice idea" without having to accept them a priori?

    Yeah, I only type people based on behavior or the four basic letters that make up a type. I think it's a bit vainglorious to type others using the cognitive functions. To describe ones own inner world though, is more reasonable I think and the only time the cognitive functions should be considered useful.
