It's a slippery slope when you start to agree with me, for I factor your disagreement into every post. It's as though I stretch the elastic in one direction and I rely upon you to stretch it back. If you agree with everything I say, we have a positive feedback loop that can go into runaway. It's like a dance, I take one step and you take a counter step., and so we dance one step after another. And after a while the dancers become the dance.

I just happened to only respond to you when I disagree, up until now. I didn't factor in any kind of codependency. I'll have to go back to my old policy. To continue your metaphor, I'm worried that you might end up slipping the DJ a bill to play a slowdance and then try to cop a feel.

people want to hate on keirsey, but honestly, why should I believe "the functions" are anything more than a "nice idea" without having to accept them a priori?

Somehow, you just deleted the MBTI hard disk to my brain.

Yeah, I only type people based on behavior or the four basic letters that make up a type. I think it's a bit vainglorious to type others using the cognitive functions. To describe ones own inner world though, is more reasonable I think and the only time the cognitive functions should be considered useful.
