ESFJ mum + ISTJ dad = INTP moi (+ISTP bro & ExFx sis, she's ridiculously hard to type but she tested as ENFP once)

ESTP grandma + INTJ grandad = ESFJ mum (dunno her sister's type probs ISTP) though tbh they weren't really properly raised by their parents.

My dad's parents were too old for me to get to know, only met the mother at birth and my memory isn't that good. :P

That's really interesting. I wonder whether there is a correlation, but a different type of correlation. Well I'll give you mine.

    INXP(mom)+ENFP(dad)=INFP(me)

    Mother Side
ESFJ but used to be ISFJ(grandma)+ESTP(grandpa)= INXP

    Fathers Side
    ESFJ(Mimi)+ENFX(leans towards I, papa)= ENFP

I really don't think there is a correlation that way because my dads brothers are INFP (like me) and ESTJ.

Mother (ENFJ) + Father (ISFJ) = brother (ESFP) + me (INFJ)

    Mother's side:
Grandpa (ISTJ) + Grandma (ISFJ) = mother (ENFJ) + uncle (ESFJ) + aunt 1 (ESFP) + aunt 2 (INFP) + aunt 3 (ESTJ)

    Father's side:
    Don't have any idea.

At a quick glance, could it be that N abilities are linked to recessive genes? It seems to skip generations sometimes.

For me, I'm not entirely sure of types.

    Mother's side:
    Grandmother: ISxP
    Grandfather: ENTP
    My mother: ISFP

    Father's side:
Grandfather: Unknown (died in 1970) - all I know is he drank and gambled A LOT.
    Grandmother: ENTJ
    My father: xNTJ

Mom and dad were both SFJs although Dad developed PTSD at the end and started acting INTJ.
    Mom's side: grandma-xSTJ, grandpa-ENTP i think
    Dad's side: pops-never met him grams-ISFJ.

ENTP father + ESxJ mother (more ESFJ-ish, though) = ExTP me; ESxP brother

ISTP grandfather + ExTP grandmother = ENTP father

ENTP grandfather + ISFJ grandmother = ESxJ mother
    ExTP

INTJ mom and ESTP/ENFJ (unhealthy Fe-Se loop of some kind) father. I'm ISTJ, only Si user.

My maternal grandparents are ISFJ (grandmother) and INTP (grandfather). My paternal grandparents are ESTJ (grandmother). My grandfather died 20ish years before I was born, but he sounds like a stereotypical INFP.

My mom's sister is an ESFP, leads to conflict. Dad's sister is an ISTJ like me.
