Yes, type was brought up by me, after Jenaphor started making non-sequtir comments about how my values would change if I became wealthy. To me, that is an unwarranted personal attack, not to mention a ridiculous red herring. I am not even a socialist for pete's sake. You can disagree with me all day long, but don't sit there and try to tell me who I am or what my values are when you barely even know me.

I also don't think all ENTJs are ENFPs. Just some of them.

LOL, the only people I felt like punching are banned. I think it might just have been 1 or 2.

I understand where you are coming from, and I suspect that might be the same way people feel about comments on their cognitive functions expression. You're right, it is a typology site - the name of the game. But its all still so personal. At least thats what my Fe suggests to me.

Well, if I may give my 2¢, I do think we all can access every function, though shadow functions often run a far greater risk of being used in a "negative" fashion. Berens' model, if I understand it correctly, assigns a "good side" and a "bad side" to every one of the function "slots":

    1. Leading / Dominant
    2. Supporting / Overprotective
    3. Relief / Unsettling
    4. Aspirational / Projective
    5. Opposing / Backup
    6. Critical / Discovery
    7. Deceiving / Comedic
    8. Devilish / Transformative

Also, if this Fi/Fe discussion becomes an ENFP/INFJ catfight, let it be known that I totally called it. (j/k... sorta)

Yes, well, if I had listened to Simulated World and read Jung closely much earlier, I would have been much less confused about my type. I am actually very friendly with him now, and what I disagreed with, I still don't do myself. I don't go on anyone's personal profile and say "OHAI YOU'RE XXXX TYPE, OH YES YOU ARE."

In the situation Jag mentioned she tried to tell me who I was, so I was more than happy to tell her who she was. I mirror people A LOT. The truth is, I have no idea what her type is, I really don't have a concrete opinion on Jenaphor.

I do on some other members, though, and it's because I've interacted with them a bunch.

Why would it? I was complimenting people with Fe.

I just said I definitely don't have it.

I find it amusing that most of the other EXFJs don't bother going into these threads

If you want to be nice and considerate to other people then just be nice and considerate to other people. I would highly recommend only doing it to those who deserve it though.

Because 1) these Fe-Fi battles are always ridiculous, and 2) ExFJs are seriously rare around here.

In fact, I don't even know why I still post here! I must be some glutton for punishment.
