Do you think Te could look like Ne in people's behaviour regarding to the connecting things to eachother.

Example:
Let's say we have a person who is E, is serious and follows rules well but the same person is also excellent in connecting things and seeing patterns. So, the first part might give a hint that the person is ESTJ but the second part that the person is Ne dominant.

Could this person in fact be ENTJ because the personality is definitely not ENFP or ENTP and ESTJ seems not to fit with the seemingly strong Ne?'

So could Te-Ni look like Ne?

pure Te would look completely different from pure Ne. pure Te is entirely deductive, and pure Ne is entirely inductive.

but yeah, Te/Ni and Ne/Ti can look very similar.

connecting things and seeing patterns is just N. Ne or Ni.

ESTJ has tertiary Ne, though...you could be seeing that.

They can look similar in an NT. For example Ni + Te can look like Ne. Likewise Ne + Ti can look like Te. In general NT's seem to have no trouble grasping abstract thinking type information regardless of what type they are. Each NT type processes information in a different way, but the end result of their comprehension is often very similar.

Yes.

Does Fe-Si look like Se?

Look is direction. Direction is application.

From everything that I understand about functions, no Ne and Te would not look-a-like. Fe and Ne could look-a-like as could Ne-Se. The only thing that seems to come close to looking like Te is combined with Ni, and Se with Ti.
