I am a lot more confrontational and (as much as I dislike to admit it) less modest/more show-offy than most ENFPs that I have met. I'm just as warm and welcoming as your stereotypical one, but I'm much more ESFP in the performing-look-at-me-I'm-doing-something-entertaining sense. But there's no way I'm an ESFP - I'm too value-oriented and far too intuitive.

I'm not at all arrogant, though neither am I modest. While I'm cold and distant to people I don't know, I'm generally quite warm to friends and family. Well, I think I am anyway, they might not say the same. I'm not strategic in any manner, I generally think move to move and don't have a long term plan.

I've been trained to empathise with people whose feelings are ruining their lives and immiserating everyone else into the bargain.

I think I'm less scattered and naive than regular ENFP's. I'm a bit more "normal" and mainstream, although i really appreciate weirdness. also, i guess im a bit less extroverted, but then, i wasn't sure i wasnt an INFP until recently.

I am rarely emotional - only with people extremely close to me, and even then usually only positively (never shout or let negative emotions overwhelm me) - to the point many people think I'm INTP (there's no way I'm a thinker... I'm so Fi it's crazy.)

I also enjoy debate when it stays focused on the issue and doesn't become personal for the other person. I'm also extremely, extremely hard to offend (i.e. not super-sensitive like many INFPs I know and have read about.) I have a very direct communication style that is off-putting to some people, especially other women. I also have a sarcastic and crass sense of humor much of the time.

Heck, the differences between me and the stereotypical INFP plague me constantly.

To point one out... I'm not exactly a... nice person...

Not to mention that sometimes it really doesn't feel like I'm sure of who I am, like Fi doms are apparently supposed to be...

Maybe I'm not really an INFP.

    Let's see...

    • I'm a lot more controlled than the descriptions make me out to be
    • I don't have enough time to shock everyone that I encounter
    • I'm a lot more introspective than what the profile suggests
    • I don't like sports
    • I'm a lot quieter than the profile suggests, I prefer to observe
    • I do see the long-term implications of something, just that I do not hold importance to it
    • I don't like doing business -- not interested in the first place (though it's ironic how my best module is Marketing)
    • I HATE the military
    • I have my antisocial moods too, this is when I want to avoid people as much as possible
    • Usually that's most of time :P
