I can see both sides- but when it comes down to it in totality, he's definitely not being cocky or arrogant. The man was amazing!

He didn't say 'Thank You' as much- whatever. You can hear how he's describing people and giving them props (even his ex-wife) that he's a thankful dude.

But it's real for him to talk about his struggles as well. All we saw most of the time was the good times on the court.

They then form "clicks", as Orobas regularly points out, and, as Highlander has been suggesting, and they develop a sort of "gang" mentality by which they collectively want to hammer down any nail that dares stick its head out (i.e., does not abide by their collective "morality").
If you think forming cliques, being gossipy, and trying to reign in any oddball rests solely on Fe, you're quite mistaken.

Yeah, I hate getting emoshy-woshy with coworkers too (and I don't).

I sure as hell never get involved in office politics, like, at all

Hell, I barely get involved in the personal lives of coworkers or the people I employ.. I just do my absolute best to motivate, help, and encourage the competent, creative, and driven ones.

    I agree.

I'd be mistaken, if I believed that.

I've just repeatedly seen very Fe-based examples of this.

For the most part, I haven't worked at large enough companies to see the prototypical "ladder-climber" kinda clicking.

It's not even full-blown emoshy woshy necessarily; it's needing to deal with their emotions (particularly needy ones) at all.

It's like, fucking a man, I'm at work; I don't want to deal with your neediness, and desire to connect. I'm down if I feel like it, but hold off on the resentment if I don't. I'm not your significant other...

I would never imagine all Fe-users to act as I described, and I'm glad to hear that you're not.

In my opinion, the depth of analysis in SW's book is good. I'm sure it's not for everybody but I gained something from it. So yeah, I liked it. To each his own. Maybe you should read it one of these days.
