Hi hi all.
I've been looking at a bunch of mbti stuff lately and reading some of these forums, so I decided to make a topic from what I've learned about the four temperaments and their general mission. Give me some feedback if this totally isn't you/why it isn't.

NF-I am different, and will use my special nature to bring change and happiness to those around me.
NT-I am smart, and will use my intelligence and ingenuity to bring knowledge that will enable happier lives.
SP-I am true, and will truly express myself to bring happiness and enlightenment of the inner self to others.
SJ-I am strong, and will protect the cultural traditions and my loved ones so they may be happy.

This is of course abiding with my idealistic thoughts that everyone only wants for other's wellbeing (Even if it may be twisted).

Welcome to the forums! :)

I would seriously consider this to be my mission if I weren't so passive, self-absorbed and aloof about the world around me most of the time. I guess in some way it is deep within me but usually I talk myself out of taking action. I feel that I am different but I've never felt that I'm more different than everybody else around me in their own way. I do want people to change things if I see them being stuck and I might try to push them towards that change if I feel an urge to do so. But yes, wishing people happiness and being sincere about it is something I do constantly, even if I don't voice it out to them or really take action to bring it to them. Seeing others being happy makes me feel happy.

Why?
Not a very positive sign for success, if you are asking to get into peoples heads!... It's ok, just don't ask the next time you try, it'll be easier!

Hi Hermes - I don't know about other NTs but I prefer to look at it from the perspective that I will bring understanding and knowledge. My core skills are to identify solutions and interpret them for others, whether that be simplistic analogy for the classroom or seeing relationships and potential relationships not obvious to others.

This can include introducing people who could assist each other, though on the surface they might appear to have nothing in common, and would be unlikely to meet otherwise.

Thanks!
These are of course oversimplified stereotypes, but I think they give a good core representation.
Insatiable, possibly the NTP's are more visionary in their quests and prefer to take on a role of relaying information that is hard to decipher or see?

Allow me to make your life easier and happier by explaining to you that the room inside my skull is very limited, and I would advice you not to get inside of it. I believe you would find the location very unlivable and unbearable! :D

True, but it's not easy. Most people I talk to are disinclined to see relationships between things like I do. And then it takes a while to express myself so that they'd have at least a basic understanding of what I'm talking about.
