I also tried an excerpt from one of my academic papers (analysis of a book and it's not some dry text either) and that gave me 99.6% Thinking. :rolli: By combining texts of different posts I've made here in the forum, I can get all kinds of "results". Fascinating to observe really.
    True. Still fun/interesting though.

With my first attempt I took the most recent thing I posted in someone's blog, and got this -

    1. iNtuition (55.6 %)
    2. Sensing (44.4 %)

    1. Feeling (79.4 %)
    2. Thinking (20.6 %)

    1. Introversion (65.5 %)
    2. Extraversion (34.5 %)

    1. Perceiving (52.5 %)
    2. Judging (47.5 %)

Then I took another text from something I wrote years ago (again freeform, not a paper or anything that I turned in), and got this -

    1. iNtuition (91.7 %)
    2. Sensing (8.3 %)

    1. Thinking (88.2 %)
    2. Feeling (11.8 %)

    1. Introversion (98.6 %)
    2. Extraversion (1.4 %)

    1. Perceiving (68.8 %)
    2. Judging (31.2 %)

    --------------

The 'P' is pretty much due to the fact that when I'm writing freeform, without a professional or academic audience, I'm very long-winded and tend not to make many paragraphs.

Oh, another interesting thing I noticed. This classifier seems to be very dependent on the type of writing that is entered. The story that I wrote was classified ESFP, but my research paper was INTJ (99.3 % introverted, 98.1 % intuitive, 99.6 % thinking, and 52.5 % judging)

Hey there, just sending some thanks your way for posting those links. I'm having fun "analyzing" various e-mails, journal entries, reports, etc. from people I know.

I got INTP on three different papers, with the I, N, and T being 99% every time, though the P was lower (60-80%).

What are the criteria for the scoring?

I would really like to have each of the four spectra analyzed on one page of text. Is there a combined version of the three, where you don't have to enter a URL (as you do from Typealizer), but instead analyze a body of text.

I only used writing that was purely myself, and one of those 'write down your stream of thoughts' moments.

    I got INFP.

I'm sure writing that was coerced to follow a particular style (such as academic) would be all screwed up.

One of my blog posts got INTP and one got INTx. o_O The IN is stable; the rest fluctuates.
