I thought a strange and maybe dull "theory"...

If you are undecided between two mbti types, you change one single letter in every type and then you think at which of your new 4+4 types you relate more.

For example, if you are undecided between INTP and INTJ we have:

INTP --> ENTP, ISTP, INFP, INTJ
INTJ --> ENTJ, ISTJ, INFJ, INTP

Now I think I am INTP and I relate more with entp/istp/infp than the others.
What do you think? I accept insults
It works for you?
Bye!

YOU are a fat idiot! j/k.

I find this very similar with simply pointing out that what you have chosen are all Perceivers not Judgers. So instead of switching the 3 similar letters, you can simply look at J vs. P.

Yes, in this example you are right, but reasoning about singol letters j/p, i/e etc... sometimes is more complicated than having a big picture about types that people stereotipically know about overall description and characters typing.
